Help Mikey Plan a Halloween Trick

Here's the deal... I was leaving class last night and the old "Have You Checked the Children?" line from When a Stranger Calls (the original, the remake never happened) popped into my head for no good reason whatsoever. This was one of my dad's favorite movies back in the day, one of a few that legitimately gave him the creeps. Well... Halloween's coming up and the wheels kinda got to turning. He's always been fun to scare since he's jumpy like I am - and nobody's gotten him in a LONG time.
Until now.
I ran the idea past my mom last night and she loves it, and we came to the conclusion that our "catchphrase" would be "The Secret's in the Attic." (Just built a garage onto the house with sizable attic up top.) We plan on sending this message to him for 5 or 6 days, until he goes to the attic Thursday and we lay the trap. The big payoff here is still in the works, but it's gonna be something to the effect of the following:
* We're gonna remove the light bulb to the attic that day, so no light
* We will have a lit jack o'lantern on an old nightstand as the focal point of the attic.
* We will have a repeating CD playing in the adjacent old attic with this voice we're going to create, audible thru the old attic vent, which now is within the new attic.
* A note on the nightstand by the pumpkin will instruct him to open the drawer to the nightstand. "The secret is in the drawer."
* On the back of the drawer we plan on securing some fishing line, run thru strategically places I-hooks, and opening the drawer will untie a black ghost, made out of my old high school graduation robe thing, which will sail from the darkness on the far side of the attic - where you can't freely walk - down next to where he'll be standing by way of either a pulley or gravity down more fishing line.
* We need to put something in the drawer, but we're not sure what. Brother suggests one final message - "The Secret is Behind You" - and when he turns around, my brother's friend Josh will jump out from behind some obstruction with a mask on and scare the shit out of him. We may also include some sort of bloody object in the drawer.
Sound good?
Now, getting him the messages anonymously is going to be critical, but these are what we have in mind:
* An e-mail from a random dummy e-mail account
* A text message (anyone know if you can block a number on a text message?)
* Voice mail after hours at work
* Some cooperation from the guy that works in the office with him to leave a huge text document open on his computer for him to receive in the morning.
* Making the aforementioned CD and slipping it into his truck so it will play when he turns the truck on.
* Certified mail
Any other ideas? We're trying to keep those away from the house as much as possible to divert suspicion.
We've got it planned out where we can setup everything the afternoon before we send him up... but the hard part is how do we get him up there when we need him up there?
Until now.
