Oddly I just realized the other day its been over a year since I had a cigar. I still have a humidor filled with them but someone the urge has left me. To be honest I went so long because I didn't have the situation for it. Didn't have those nice nights I light one with a friend and my deck wasn't available for the summer nights of drinking and smoking. But I passed up a cigar a month ago for no reason other than I didn't feel like it and it struck me as odd.
Or don't do either. If you can't find an image you like at either than don't force it. Just give me something you like and which will look good on the board.
I have never smoked (ok tried it once or twice and then I will take a puf just to stop hearing the "I can't believe you don't smoke" crap). But a good cigar, the big boys not those raisin flavoured crap, I never say no to. But they're usually offered on special occasions, like weddings and other similar affairs. And since no inhaling is usually made, is it really smoking?
It does damage. I mean, maybe you're looking at mouth or throat cancer instead of lung cancer. Or of course maybe you're looking at nothing but its not good for you, no. You're not inhaling (intentionally) but you're still breathing it in and holding it a lot of the time. Plus a good cigar is like a 30 minute smoke, not a 2 minute one like a cigarette.
I mean, if second hand smoke is an issue or breathing in fumes or dust that might be around then clearly cigar smoking is a bit more direct even without inhaling.

I hope it sticks... Did anything take it's place? ;D
It would amuse me if next year Byrne did a women's fed or Texas fed. I'd just like to see how he tries to make it a dark, demonic, ECW homage led by James Mitchell or Raven. -- Lucky, 2009

Awesome, Thai! Next--the marathon! (Well, maybe a record deal, then a marathon.)
Sting is the dumbest man in wrestling. That's a well established fact. I'd personally find it offensive and out of character if Sting didn't volunteer to do the stupid thing. --Lucky Lopez
And Lucky, do you actually maintain the humidor, or have you just let the cigars sit there? I got a cheap humidor and I have found that it is rather a pain in the ass to remember to keep putting water in it.
The Phillies are everything I hoped the Mets would be - a team that plays their fucking asses off for all 27 outs. They're never out of a game. Solly 10/20/09
Its not expensive but I don't think its cheap. Its a cedar box with about 40 cigars capacity and a small hydrothingie that takes "cigar juice" that lasts longer than water. No meter or anything so I have to remember to check, and I don't remember as often as I should and end up refilling a dry one from time to time. But the box keeps good moisture and I checked a week or so ago and my cigars seemed good. A couple of dry ones but I put a shotglass of water in for them to soak up and everything seems good.
The cigars in there are all over a year old and while they're not necessarily cheap they're not really high end either (most of them, I do have a few I splurged on). Some of them are probably blah now but that's to be expected. I stocked up 2 Christmas' ago when I was smoking them regularly and I bought my buddy a nice humidor and collection as a house warming gift.

Congrats, Thai! I keep telling myself I'm going to quit in the next few days or so. By this time next week for sure. I think.
Give this book a shot. Allan Carr's The Easy Way To Stop Smoking. After all the previous attempts of quitting, this is the only thing I know that worked. After reading this book, I can tell you right now that I know I will never ever have a cigarette again in my life. I also know two other people who quit smoking by reading this book.
And yes, I still smoke weed, but not very often. And I have a cigar once in a blue moon. Probably only had one or two in the last year.

As of today, I have not had a cigarette or even a puff of one in year. It feels great, I feel great. I AM great.
Way to go, man. I need all the positive role models I can get if I ever decide to finally quit. (I smoke, seriously, like 6 cigarettes a day, so the doctors are no help; they're like "Oh, that's not bad". Clearly, no drinking and no smoking weed has helped dramatically; but I'd love to give up this one last unhealthy crutch I have).
[SeamusMcNasty] And that is why I hate the Miz. He's got potential, but he just doesn't live up to it. Unlike Randy Orton, who has no potential and lives right up to that.

Let me jump on Thai's love muscle. I mean bandwagon. We all love Thai right? In completely heterosexual and not at all in the snuggle against his chest while squeezing his ass sort of way.
Uh yeah... Congrats buddy. One step closer to ruling the world my friend.
