As last year, league fee is $25. Like last year, Pay Pal is basically out for me. So check or money order seems to be the options.

Like last year we will use the minors as a motivator for quick payment. If you don't pay you won't be able to add anyone to your Minor League camp. If you haven't paid by July 1st you aren't eligible to win the Regular Season payoff. If you don't pay by August 1st you can't win anything and we reserve the right to kick you out of the league. Of course there's leeway as we're all buds and if you need to hold off just let me know.
But quick payment and getting it all resolved is best, especially since I'm kinda careless with book keeping and being able to just put 11 checks in the back in a short span and make clear note of that money being reserved is easier for me to keep track of and makes sure I don't accidentally sit on your check for weeks and you have IM me saying your book is all fucked up.
Also, I'm thinking of changing the payouts a bit. Right now its $150 for 1st, $75 for 2nd, $25 for 3rd, $50 for Regular Season. I'd kinda like to make it $50 for 2nd and $75 for Regular Season but I don't know how that will sit with the league (especially since I've won the Regular Season and it could look like me trying to throw more money at what I've been capable of winning. My thinking is just that 22 weeks of regular season > 3 weeks of playoffs. Paying off double for the Champ is fine and makes sense. 2nd > Regular Season? I'm inclined to think the reverse and doubling your money for 2nd place is still good, especially since you have a good chance of taking that regular season purse.
But I'll let you guys comment and see what you think. This setup is fine if we prefer it. The alternative would be to ditch the 3rd place prize and make it $75 for each. But I suspect 4 people possibly being paid would be preferable.
