Okay, I'll admit I've watched the show a good bit. Didn't watch this last time because I didn't give half a shit about the "Stars", but this time around there are a few that could be quite interesting:
Belinda Carlisle David Alan Grier (In Living Color, The Chocolate News) Jewel Shawn Johnson (for all the OOWFites!!!) Lil' Kim Gilles Marini (from SATC movie) Ty Murray (bull-rider... Jewel's hubby) Steve-O (really?!?) Nancy O'dell (Access Hollywood) Denise Richards Lawrence Taylor Chuck Wicks (Julianne Hough's real-life boyfriend) Steve Wozniak (!!!!!)
Well, she is still considering the 2012 Olympics, though.
And I won't go so far as to call her "cute" or "hot" (that's Dev's territory), but she's got a damn contagious smile. And if gymnastics/dancing don't work out for her, I could see her having a future as a ventriloquist.
I really, REALLY don't get the interest in that show. OK the girl you posted a pic of has nice legs, but seeing the pic is enough for me. Watching has been dance... why even care. And I'm sure the rating are through the roof. I don't get it. And I don't even want an explanation. And there isn't even a pole!
For me, most of the fun is seeing people completely out of their element. I was also a fan of the "Rock N Jock" sports stuff they used to have on MTV. Just seeing people who are known for being really good at one thing trying out something they are incredibly uncomfortable with.
I can fully admit the show is not for everybody (read: "most men"). But after watching the show primarily for the train wrecks, I feel I've developed a better appreciation for ballroom dancing. Hell, my wife and I can accurately predict what the judges scores will be 9 times out of 10.
And for the best legs I may have ever seen in my life, Chelsie Hightower joins the professionals this season (although she'll probably be off soon as her partner really sucks). She was a finalist on So You Think You Can Dance last summer:
