Have the Supergroup Idol and Punapalooza Drafts made you seek any new bands or old bands that you weren't listening to before? Were there any bands or artists that you sort of listened to but started delving into more because of these two drafts?

If so, discuss here. I'm very curious if it has.

For me, drafting George Harrison made me go back and finally get his solo album, All Things Must Pass, and I'm very glad I did.

Also a lot of times, I was seeking out youtubes of live footage of these bands and artists, making me appreciate these bands more. Finding Blondie's old clips from the 70s and early 80s was great, because honestly, I don't like seeing old Debbie Harry perform. And in drafting Stewart Copeland, I looked up The Police youtubes which was great, because I've never seen The Police live in any way shape or form ever.

The Police live are awesome.

As for me, I bought both of Gnarles Barkley's albums. I'd heard maybe two songs of theirs before I drafted them, but I really liked what I had heard and Danger Mouse's involvement sold me. I don't regret it at all. Modern motown-style hip hop pop grooves... I'm down.

I learned about Gorgol Bordello. The stuff I've heard so far is cool.

It's what I like the most about these drafts, I actually come out of them (if I participate in them or not) with a list of stuff to check out. Haven't done the music list yet but I have a movie list all ready.
