Hodgepodge 09 starts of with some light, poppy, fun stuff from the Kinks to help the peeps wake up, then it's on to some nice vocals and guitar work with the Screaming Trees. Finger Eleven brings some funky rock, which transitions nicely into Beck. The way I see it, Beck stays onstage and rocks an extra guitar on Body Count's In The House, whose set ends with a couple of Ice-T tracks to set the stage for House of Pain. After a few Shamrocks and Shenanigans, things get a bit more serious with Public Enemy, but Snoop makes sure that the crowd leaves with a smile.

I'm a bigger fan of Hodgey's 2nd day than this one. I love Lou's 1-2 punch of The Dead and The Who.

For me this basically comes down to Sly vs. PE, which is damn tough.
