Damn, can't believe I didn't see this thread sooner. I'll go on the record as saying that college softball players are either A) absolute beasts, or B) the hottest of the hot when it comes to female athletes. I'm really wondering why I only "discovered" the sport a few years back and didn't become a groupie while I was still at UF. Ah, well.

And am I the only one who was "stimulated" by all the Road Warrior-esque eye black a lot of them were donning?!?

Ya know, I wish they aired college softball on ESPN as much as they do that utter horseshit that is women's basketball. Hell, I'd probably watch more college softball than the MLB, and definitely more than college baseball.

The games are typically 2 hours tops. Commercial breaks are very short. Tremendously hot girls doing coordinated movements and chants on the bench. Amazing on-field skills displayed by said girls (similar reaction-time needed by a batter as a 90-100mph fastball in baseball).

Seriously, how is this sport not more popular? Is it because husbands couldn't get away with paying TOO close of attention to it?!?

MTA: and fuck curveballs and sinkers. These girls have to try to hit the RISE ball, too!
