For Thai and Pun-

where can I get the Revolution 4 card? I got Draven an older DS from one of the college kids who doesn't use his anymore for $50 bones with 6 games, and I'm hooked playing the Zelda game (surprise surprise)

So Pun had told me about the Revolution 4 card, but do you have to do anything special to get it to work. The guy has one but could never get it working.

So, a link where I can buy it and how to use it would be lovely. and some links on where to go after I get it working would be marvey as well.

Oh, and do you have to flash the DS regularly? I've never had one, so I'll need to learn. I tried adding it to my home network for wireless last night but it said it couldn't get out. So I need to work on it some...

Since I don't have the links on top of my head, I suggest you start by googling R4 DS. (everyone calls the Revolution 4 the R4). I don't remember which online store I bought it from, but I do remember that I shopped around to find a decent price. Also, you need to buy a micro SD. I believe only 2gb or lower work on the R4.

After that, it's pretty simple. You need to download the kernel. I think you just put it on the card through your computer (the R4 will come with a MicroSD/USB adapter).

It's been a while since I first got it and initialized it for use, but once I got it working, I never had a problem with it, until I mysteriously lost my DS. I still haven't replaced them yet.

Also, I never flashed the DS. I always played it with my clothes on.

No flashing of the DS, and I have a 4GB microSD card in mine. You also need to make sure you have the latest software on the SD card. I'll bring mine with me when I come up there in a couple weeks, so you can take a look at it.
