My favorite radio station of my youth is no more. Back in the 70's & early 80's the DJ's could choose a lot of the songs (including early new wave and local indie bands), the comedy bits were great, and morning DJ CHarles Laquidara had a Saturday AM alter ego named Duane Glasscock who always made me laugh. Sunday mornings the DJ played songs requested by prisoners, which was a little creepy, but cool.
I haven't lived near Boston since 1983, and I gather the station sold out long ago, but it's sad to see it officially die.
Yeah, I know this place pretty good. I went to law school here.[My5:]

Yup. Sad day. Such is the reality of radio these days.

Don't forget these guys...
It would amuse me if next year Byrne did a women's fed or Texas fed. I'd just like to see how he tries to make it a dark, demonic, ECW homage led by James Mitchell or Raven. -- Lucky, 2009
see. i told you byrne was the way to go here. like i said, he's a big dork. -- Ziggy, 2009

Ziggy said Boston and fags. I think the rest speaks for itself.
