It's overkill, unfortunately. With the miniseries he's got right now, he's already starring in 3 books. I get that the one where he's carrying around his own zombie head might not fit into the mainstream universe, but there's nothing about the current miniseries that couldn't have been handled in his regular title.

That said, is there some kind of spin on the third ongoing that makes it necessary?

it's the new marvel team-up book. deadpool's gonna be the regular character and they're calling it deadpool team-up.

I always had a hard time figuring out how ANY Deadpool story fits into the mainstream universe.

Deadpool's series have traditionally had a lot of Team-Up's in them anyway, so I wonder how a title dedicated to that will affect the main ongoing. I like them starting the numbering with #899, though

I should really intro Gator to tuffdaddycool. He has like every Sleepwalker issue in shrinkwrap and is the only other person I've ever known to ask me about the fate of that character in the 21st century/

Eh. I was always partial to Deathlok over Sleepwalker. But definitely Darkhawk over the both of them.

They could always team Deadpool up with Superpro just for shits 'n' giggles.

Wow, 3 titles. I've been a huge fan of Deadpool since his dastardly ways in New Mutants. I don't follow comics as much as I used to, but I am pleasantly surprised with how popular he's become. His early mini-series were pretty badass.
