Since we don't have one of these here, I figured I'd get one going. I chose not to use "Fuck" in the thread title because this board seems to slant more SFW than OO does.

Anyway, here goes:

Fuck Mike Vick. Fuck him and fuck the media constantly sucking his dick. I am so fucking sick and tired of hearing what a great fucking QB he is when he's actually not bad at best. Can he run? Yes. Does that make him a good QB? Fuck no. It makes him a good RB, WR, or KR. Not a good QB. Can he throw the longball? Yes. Does that make him a good QB? Only if it also makes Akili Smith a good QB.

As an addendum to this particular rant (which, by the way, has been brewing for four years), fuck the refs in the ATL/CIN game yesterday. I get that it's more important to have a winning franchise in Atlanta than in Cincinnati, and I get that Vick sells more merchandise than Palmer, but pass interference is still pass interference, you stupid fucking asscocks. Four fucking times they missed blatant interference calls. Four. Fuck them. And fuck Vick again for good measure.

Do we need this here? Really? I don't know, have some of you guys stopped posting at OO so using that Fuck List feels less comfortable to you? If there's a significant number of people who don't post at OO anymore I can understand it but otherwise it just seems excessive. Most of the stuff we're doing over here seems like its specific for this place and wouldn't be very well received at OO. The Smite/Exalt stuff is silly flamewars basically. The Superhero Showdown is its own forum that would total monopolize Parts Unknown for a handful of people. The Keeper League is the same. Moose's rants are almost blog like.

Otherwise the things OO has seem to not be here. No wrestling discussion. No real sports discussions (except what spawns out of rants or smites). A few TV/Movie conversations that spawned naturally. Optard has the Lost thread so that he can read it without the spoilers that pop up in the OO one.

But this feels off to me. A Fuck List on this board adds nothing to it. And it takes away from OO. So I don't see the point. Again, unless there are a significant number of guys who have just stopped posting at OO. Maybe I'm not realizing that as I'm still splitting my time between both boards.

A good point well taken. The main reason I started the thread was that I was feeling extra pissed about Vick after reading Peter King's blowjob this morning, and I wanted to vent. I was already here, and it was going to be more of a rant than a logical dissertation on sports, so this seemed like the right place. I'm totally cool with shutting it down, deleting it, whatever. It's out of my system for the moment.

Hey, I'm not the guy who makes the rules. And I don't begrudge you the rant. But "The Fuck List" is clearly an OO thing. And its still going strong there, unlike the "I Miss" thread. I get you wanting to rant on Vick and being here but I guess it was the actual effort to spawn our own Fuck List that struck me.

Again, if you just don't post at OO as much now that pun's board is here I can understand it. Or if people felt that this became their board and OO took a backseat I guess I could see it. Personally I'm wielding equal time at both places and in my mind this has just become a spinoff of sorts. So starting our own "Fuck List" or "Top 5 List" or "6 Degrees" or whatever seems weird (except for during OO outages of course when people still want to play their games or vote in polls or whatever). But everyone's not on the same page as me and I've definatelly noticed that some posters seem to be less prevelant at OO or have outright said here that they like it more. I think you were one of them. So I know we're not all on the same page.

Plus I guess I'm a bit protective of OO still and starting with the USF stuff I was worried about this board causing a problem or taking away. IF people are deciding they like it here more than OO I think that's cool and it probably will eventually happen if we continue to grow. This place is obviouslly usefull for any number of things that wouldn't fly at OO. But propriating OO things for this place "just because" feels out of line to me.

Maybe I'm alone in that, though. I just figured I might as well say it. Long story short, I'm fine with it. I just figured I'd mention my reservation right off the bat so its been voiced. If we still want to do it I won't cause any problems, and I'm sure I'll join in sooner or later.
