I love Cap's team and I've fallen in love with the Guardians. The Potentials are pretty meh but something sits wrong with me about the Lethal Ladies. Maybe its that Sue Storm (she isn't married?) and Barbara Gordon don't seem quite as "lethal" as Power Princess and that seems like a really bad mix? I dunno. Too unbalanced a team? I'm not sure what it is. Still, I might give them the nod on pure name power since I don't even know who Empowered and Excalibur are, Beetle really bores me, and Ion's kind of a douche.



Vance Astro, Major Victory, is the displaced Earth Man from the 20th century who once led the 31st century Guardians of the Galaxy, wielding Captain America's fabled shield. Now he has once again collected some of the finest and most powerful heroes from around the universe. The Kree war hero and "Protector of the Universe", Captain Mar-Vell. One of the universe's most respected and powerful Green Lanterns, John Stewart. The young Kryptonian whose power matches that of her iconic cousin. And the former leader of and one of the most powerful members of the 30th Century Legion, Wildfire. Together Astro leads them as his new Guardians of the Galaxy, largely because I couldn't think of an original name.

Guardians and Cap's Street Fighters are sure bests here. Went with the ladies also since they seem to make more sense. But that last vote could be changed or solidified if I had good arguments.

Cap's team is going to be a tough out. I haven't read anything about the Potentials, so they're out. But I'm not a huge fan of the other 2 teams anyway.

I think next year, I'm going to refuse to name my teams. I hate coming up with them anyway and it seems inevitable that Lucky will overanalyze a name that I threw together just to meet the submission deadline.

This is the Superboy who gave his life to stop the emo Superboy from doing more damage because he was sad. Much better guy.
