16, although I like both cds.

Don't get me wrong, there's some good stuff on both, but I guess 16 has more "hits". I hate that Haggar song, Unholy, Puddle of Mudd* and I don't really care for BarkattheMoon/Double Back/Pantera**/RockyoulikeaHurricane. Everything else is either better than average to great. I really wanted Fade to Black.


You know how Alternative stations got big in the 90's because they didn't want to play rock or classic rock songs, but they also didn't want to play adult contempory? So then we had Alternative, Radio Rock and Classic Rock stations? 16 is just what all three woulda played circa 1995, which I guess is Mikey's formative years, as it was mine, too. So I should really love that station, but the CD is mostly the songs that I tolerated or liked but none that I loved. MDC/FTP/WS/FtB are probably the best songs on that playlist and even those aren't busting the awesome thermometer. Well, maybe Fade to Black does. Maybe.

I do think that CD 11 is a better mix of songs, I just don't care for a handful of those songs. I can give props for making a CD that's actually different, though.

*True Story #1 = A buddy of mine and I convinced our buddy Sage that we liked Puddle of Mudd. He wouldn't talk to us until we convinced him we thought they were terrible. He actually got offended that we said we liked them. True Story #2 = Puddle of Mudd sucks balls.
** Hollow was the Pantera song I really like. The rest of their stuff is a big load of meh.
