I'm going with 26 here, 2 Smashing Pumpkins songs, REM, AC/DC and the song from Roadtrip are good enough this round

Not sure if Tommy knows that we're drafting the whole CD, not just which album has his favorite song. Or on some of these, he's just voting against an album that has a song he hates.


On 32, I don't care too much until Loser and Pepper. Kid Rock gives negative points. Then average until Cream but it picks up there until the PJ song which isn't bad, just not one of my favorite ones from them, which there are enough to put YL on at least the second tier. So 9 are good-to-awesome while the rest are played out-to-bleh.

As for 26, it ranges from Awesome to Average to Smashing Pumpkins. The only songs I'm not into are that Black Grape song, both SP songs, not sure about the Yorn song and Brimful of Asha is ok, I guess.


I'm pretty sure 32 will win this one and be a major player for me in subsequent rounds but I'm going with 26 here.

Seriously, I did the "fuck Superman" bit because it fitted the end result.

Both cd have songs that I really like and that I would mind listening to over and over. But they also have songs I really don't care about. Not that they are necessarily bad, it's just meh. So it was sort of a toss up, so I went with top songs, and Led Zep and Pearl Jam will ususaly get the nod.

But instead of writing all this, I just went with fuck superman. What can I say, I'm a man of few words.

If a CD has a song I hate on it, I'm not going to listen to it. Conversely, if a CD has one of my favorite songs on it, I'm going to listen to it.

That works if it's one cool song and a bunch of songs you've never heard that are ok versus a song you hate and a bunch of songs you've never heard that are ok or if there's only one song that you know and love from a genre you love and the rest of the songs are from said genre versus there only being one song you know that you hate from one genre that you hate and the rest of the songs are from that genre.

If it's just songs you like and songs you don't like versus songs you like and songs you don't like but you vote for the best 1 of 40 or worst 1 of 40? Sounds kinda retarded to me.

These CDs aren't Stranded on an Island CDs. If you really dig a song you can still listen to it whenever you'd like. Also, skip a song you don't like. No one's watching.
