Embedding stuff from YouTube in posts is supposed to be easy, right? You just copy/paste the html from the "Embed" box ....

So I do that and this shows:

How come it's not showing an embedded video? At least on my multiple PC's it's not - all I see is the html that was copied from YouTube.....

I dunno, it works on myspace so I don't know why it won't work in this case.

I can't get it to work here or at OO. Obviously, some folks have gotten it to work, though.

It works fine for me at OO. I've embedded this very one there.

I think this board just isn't set up for embedding somehow.

my guess is the board is set to not allow HTML. i can't seem to find the setting for it, it might be something only pun can change.

I don't see anything about HTML either. UBBC is the only thing mentioned. That still doesn't explain why I can't get it to work at OO.

I'm having the same retarded problems at OO as well. But I know I'm doing the right thing because I look at the posts people are making in the YouTube thread and it's the same "embed object" copy/paste I'm trying to use.

And the really strange thing is...it was working for me for a while, then all of a sudden it wasn't....and again this is from multiple PC's. Ugh.
