Alright, I fixed all my shitty internet connection problems (I spent a bunch of money on a bunch of Linksys gear, including a new LinkSys Cable Modem and Router with SPEEDBOOSTER~!). As a result, I've been getting into World of Warcraft (I got a 14 day trial CD which ultimately led me to doling out $40 for a three month subscription, plus a free month). Anyone around here play this new form of InterCrack? My Paladin, Branagan (Originally ZapBranagan, but the admins felt that it broke RP rules while names like RickJames and asjfaklsjf were just RP enough, I guess) is on the Thorium Brotherhood server and, apparently, is one of the best guys ever created (people seem amazed that I'm level 20 within a week of starting).

My kid started playing in August (after getting bored with Runescape) and for fun I've played a couple of characters. I like the game, and the different areas have enough variety to make exploring interesting. The need to team up with other players has its ups and downs, though. (Especially if you only play occasionally.)

He got Guild Wars Nightfall for Christmas, and I can see a few advantages: no monthly fees, free reallocation of some talents, and easier soloing, since you get NPC helpers, but I'm not sure which I'll like better.

i never noticed this thread til now - i know I'm 3 months late but Hell yea. This game is seriously like cracked. My pally hit level 63 today and its just an awesome feeling. 7 more levels to max out and get a flying mount - How cool is that gonna be.
