Ok, here's a question for the geeks. Particularly, X-Men fans.

Scott Summers, AKA Cyclops, AKA Slim, AKA the Boy Scout, AKA got his ass killed in X-Men 3, has probably had more costume changes than Mariah Carey on MTV Cribs. What a diva! He's had some cool ones, and he's had some lame ones. From useless pockets to streamlined and anonymous, to a black t-shirt. Some had hoods, some showed off his boring brown locks. To you, which threads were his best and which were his worst?

#1. I may be biased by the fact that it's the best drawn, but the rest of those are really ugly. Hell, they're all pretty ugly.

Um, every Ultimates Costume ever always beats any other costume. 'Cept Captain America's of course. At least in my opinion. But I'm from the hip new young modern generation that likes things that are, ya know, cool. Underwear ain't cool.

i vote the classic x-men costume, AKA #2. with his current costume (#11) a close 2nd. i've always hated when he's shown the flowing locks.

I have to agree with loki, as painful as that is for me. I'm voting #8. Most of my X-Men knowledge comes from the 90s cartoon in which he wore that suit.

ok, you've voted your favorites, what about your least favorites?

My favorite would be the Ultimates version. I can't say I have a least favorite. After he let his hair out, I couldn;t get used to him wearing the hood anymore despite all the years with the classic costume. The current one, I'm not a huge fan of, because it's boring. Despite that, #8 has actually grown uglier as I've gotten older. Probably because of the unecessary buckles and pockets. I know it was a design fad of the time for heroes, but it's just too much. (I say that knowing that the Ultimates version has some pockets, too, but it just looks nice that way. And for some reason, the t-shirt does it for me)

However, my least favorite are his uniforms in X-Factor. I like the X across the chest for Jean Grey, Angel, Beast, and unfrozen Iceman, but the color scheme for Cyke really doesn't work. Neither does that stupid stripe on his head.

I've never been a fan of the original costume. I don't like any of the X-Men in them.

I agree with #8 being my fave. That was his costume in the Marvel vs. Capcom games, too.

#5 & #6 make him look like Fro-zone from The Incredibles.

The Erik the Red costume is bad-ass, though. Except for the short shorts, of course.
