Stumbled on this site and it shows a goodly amount of screens and video from the game. So far, looks quite realistic and really good.

Hopefully game play is fun. Since it's Midway I could see them doing an easier arcade style control scheme so more people could play. I never really liked the simulator type controls, they allways pissed me off more then anything.

All I know, if the King of the Mountain and Reverse battle Royal aren't in there - I riot!

I read somewhere that they want to focus more on the old WCW and WWE games that THQ used to make for the Ninendo systems that are more grapple heavy and less button mashing. If that's true, I'd be really excited to try this game out. I've hated most of the new wrestling systems and always loved those old games like No Mercy. I'd much rather play a simple, but solid game than have all these new features and much more complicated, and wrestler-differentiated button schemes of new games.

I read the roster was "Over 20", which bummed me out at first, but then I counted how many guys are on the roster and there's 36 active. Since "Over 20" probably means no more than 24, there's most likely 12 guys on the roster active who won't be in, and since Sensh-ki did some of the motion capture work, you have to imagine he's in, so that's 13. Just off the top of my head, of the guys on the roster who won't be in, I'm going to guess Black Reign, Elix Skipper, Jimmy Rave, Johnny Devine, Rellik, and Shark Boy won't make it. I don't think they'd exclude Lance Hoyt since he's been with TNA for a while now, and Christopher Daniels has to be in at least as himself, especially since I'm pretty sure he did mo-cap work too. Nash and Tomko may or may not be in, who knows, and maybe they leave Kip out too.

Wiki says Petey Williams, Abyss, Jeff Jarrett, and Senshi too with Christy Hemme as a non-playable character. Only guy I can think of I might miss is Kaz.

Abyss is on the main TNA game website and a trailer or two, and Jarrett's been in at least two trailers, too. And I can't imagine them leaving out Petey since his Canadian Destroyer is one of those finishers that kind of defines TNA as the thing it is today.

Yeah, they all seem like locks. Abyss and JJ not making the cut makes no sense, and Petey's been there for years and has the signature. So they all seem like they would be in the game. And Hemme makes sense for the female character for stories. And Senshi just because we know he's made. So the roster seems right and set. Like I said, Kaz seems like the only notable guy missing. And VKM, I guess. But noone will cry over that.

Besides the Knockouts, of course. But that's just timing. It gives them a selling point for the 2nd game.

As far as we are aware. I wouldn't doubt the possibility of her being a unlockable character. Just for the FFCG ;D

The lack of Kaz, Eric Young, Team 3D, and James Storm is noticeable.

They have Booker T, there's no excuse not to have Team 3D. And as over as EY has been forever he should also be a lock. Kaz & Storm could be toss ups though.

That list includes EY and he's been in early screenshots, so I'm sure he's in. James Storm not being in it would be utterly unacceptable.

New trailer, all kinds of shiz in it. A bunch of arenas (Mexico, England, Japan, Vegas?, tiny indy places), people falling off of the Ultimate X wires, blink and you'll miss him shot of Robert Roode during the intros.

The moves look good, it's impressive.

25 still sounds like a small amount of guys. I guess if they're going and giving everyone separate styles instead of simple genre templates, thats something, but I always feel like with videogames that having as many characters as possible is always best. Even if they didn't have the roster, I would probably have gone the route of those funny fake guys WCW games used to have on N64...or even better, make crazy fake guys that are ripoffs of older or current wrestlers outside of TNA, with close movesets, just so you cover all ground.

Either way, crazy that they'd miss obvious guys like Storm and the Dudleys, and if this has been in development for some time and Senshi's in the game, it could be possible that if Storm is actually in the game, that Harris is too. I'm not sure what stage their on in the game, but his move is relatively recent in the videogame world.

Those funny fake guys weren't fake, they just had fake names.

25 does seem small, but that number came from pretty early in production. Even the "confirmed" guys only add up to 23, Harris could be in there. The game has changed so much that at one point Jeff Hardy, Raven, and Monty Brown were all in the game.

They give us a confirmed roster of Jeff Jarrett, Sting, Kurt Angle, Abyss, Rhino, Christian Cage, Scott Steiner, Booker T, Tomko, Jay Lethal, Christopher Daniels, Chris Sabin, Alex Shelley, Eric Young, Hernandez and Homicide, with 7 guys yet to be announced. That leaves hope still for Storm and Team 3D. Furthermore, you absolutely have think that Petey's in the game, leaving open 3 more spots. Kaz'll most likely be in and, if I were to guess, I'd say Robert Roode would make it in too. So that leaves probably Shark Boy to fill out the roster.

The other thing that really made the game spectacular was the graphics. Truly some of the best I have seen in a game like this. The backgrounds were fully 3D rendered, great dynamic lighting and character models so detailed that at times they seemed almost photographic.
