Probably the best two hours of wrestling I have seen in a long long time.
talking points!
-The Gauntlet was really a lot of fun. I am not as big on EY as I was a few months ago, but thats mostly because TNA has not given me a reason to care about him anymore.
- I have no problem with Raven, BlackReign and Mitchell all hooking up with Macias, actually I think it is a good idea. All three are doing a variation of the same essential gimmick, so you might as well have them led by the same man. Sop mentioned that Raven should hate Mitchell for scalping him a few years ago, true, but that can easily be cleared up with a short promo. I missed the promo later in the night except to hear that Abyss wants a Monster's Ball match, but who will it be? and when? I assume Raven and Reign vs. Rhyno & Abyss at BFG?
- the women's match, it was short and I had no problem with it, I like Kim, and Roxy so I am good with it all.
- The Main Event. Wow. I know it was on the short side, but wow. I think there was more action and excitement in that one match than there has been in the last 6 months of RAW combined. Plus I got to see the Rikishi Driver again, which I love. Lots of false finishes, lots of great action. Could it have been better had it gone longer? Perhaps, but I am not going to nit pick it
- Angle, meh, I didn't hate it, and I kind of like the logic behind it, he wants the OLD Sting. Ok, I wonder if we will get the old looking Sting? That would be kinda cool for a one time thing. I love that there was a bald guy in a suit cutting a promo in the stands during a football game, and no one seemed to notice
- Team 3-D, you are getting on my nerves. Team PacMan is already there. VKM, I wanted to give you a chance, and I can handle BG but Billy Gunn is just fucking annoying. Return of the Steiners, eh ok
all in all I thought it was a very good start to the two hour shows
