Um, I'll try my best. Let's see, I generally associate Gen-Xers with the early 90s. Mostly with Nirvana and the whole change that happened within the music scene.

Gen-Yers would be people who came of age in the early 2000s like myself and Mister Ryan. People who came around right as the Internet started reaching it's full potential and technology was getting really insane (ex. Gaming systems and iPods).

That's a really crappy explanation of what I think is the right answer.

I think that late Gen-Xers are more alike with early Gen-Yers than they are with early Gen-Xers.

To me, anybody who grew up with the original Nintendo Entertainment System (approximately age 37 to age 23 - those who were old/young enough to be playing the system under the age of 18 when it was still the prevailing game system) should be known as Gen U,U,D,D,L,R,L,R,B,A,Start
