"...and so in the turmoil caused by the collapse of the Hollywood distribution system, it was left to a number of private billionaires to pick up the pieces. One such man is a local kid out of Detroit, Michigan who is no stranger to events like these. We caught up with him at the launch party for his new network."
: What the fuck is Borges doing, running I-form is like literally attaching handcuffs to Denard.
"Excuse me-"
: Get the fuck out.
Later that evening...
Qonas: I believe you had some questions for me? GO BLUE.
"Yes. Mostly known for Motor City Wrestling, you're now branching out into other venues. What compelled you to do so?"
Qonas: Opportunity. With the television industry in limbo, things were ripe for plucking just like a Denard Robinson downfield pass GO BLUE.
"Surely you did not make enough money from your lottery victory to finance both a wrestling company AND a television network?"
Qonas: MCW is incredibly profitable. Fans and advertisers love the product we put out, even if my peers don't.
"So-"
Qonas: Seriously, how on earth were the storylines I personally wrote not good enough? Not that I ever could've beat the EcOMac or anything but for me to not even get past the first round of the Showdown?!?! The voters, my peers, were ridiculous. It's like if the national championship in college football was given out to the school atop the self-wanking coach's poll ohwaitcollege football did that already FUCK YOU NEBRASKA GO BLUE.
"Errr, back to Motor City Television-"
Qonas: Whatever. So. With everything in a limbo a bunch of us just got together and decided we'll step in and BE the TV industry.
"Do you have any sort of theme to your network?"
Qonas: Yeah, good television. That's it. Each day sort of has an overriding theme, namely Sci-Fi Saturday, but not really. It's just all really good shows that I enjoy and I know the people will enjoy.
"Any regrets from the drafting process?
Qonas; Well there's always the usual issues, losing a pick you've been targeting just as it is about to fall to you, that sort of thing. I was definitely sad not to get Community and the US' Office; those are the two best network shows since 2000, in my opinion. But with the number of network owners out there I didn't expect to get them. My biggest regret is not getting the new Battlestar Galactica. I had to make a judgment call with my first selection, and it was between BSG and my eventual choice Married with Children. I had to go with MwC as it is, in my opinion, the best show ever to hit the airwaves. I hoped, prayed, BSG would fall back to me and it very nearly did. The Sopranos is more than fantastic as a consolation prize, however.
"Can we get a peek at your schedule before the official announcement?"
Qonas: Of course not, that'd be tipping my hand. I will say that in addition to Sci-Fi Saturday, my Sunday is a homage to the Fox Sundays that were created alongside Married with Children. I figure with having that show as my anchor, I might as well honor it.
"Well thanks for your time, I'll let you get back to the launch party-"
Qonas: It's a victory party now, fuck my network DENARD JUST RAPED THE IRISH! GO BLUE!
"-your party. We all look forward to the launching of Motor City Television."
