Lights Against Darkness In Everyday Society aka L.A.D.I.E.S.

Jolt
The Team Leader, after watching the travesty of the thunderbolts, Young Jolt has decided to assemble a team of heroes to combat threats both small and large, no darkness will hide from their lights.

Lightspeed
The teenage Julie Powers has put aside her days in the power pack, now using her super speed light and rainbow shine to aid Jolt with youthful enthusiasm.

Green Lantern
Arisia adds some legitimacy to the theme with the backing of the Corps. She also gets a chance to learn more about the earth culture that fascinates her so much.

Firebird
This former avenger adds her pyrokinetic powers to help light against the dark. She has also recently discovered she is immortal, and is worried that knowing she will outlive all her friends and teammates may be making her become detached from humanity.

Dazzler
Allison Blaire finds her self in the unique position of being the veteran on this relatively young team. First agreeing to join hoping to gain some more fans for her music by hanging with youthful heroes, she now finds herself enjoying being a hero more.

Apollo
Apollo brings some muscle and power to the team. He is only called upon when the biggest of threats are faced. His willingness to do whatever it takes to win no matter the cost sometimes puts him at odds with his team mates, but none of them know what they could do to stop him if they had to.

The Pretenders


Klarion the Witch Boy
A centuries old magical being pretending to be a young boy. Klarion lives for mischief and stirring up trouble. Deciding to cause some new problems, he has brought together a diverse group of villains who are not what they claim to be. He has promised each of them a different thing, but can they coincide long enough to wreck true havoc, or will there own pretenses take them down.


Abra Kadabra
A futuristic scientist who used technology pretending it's magic, he has become Klarions de facto number two. Klarion has promised to give him true magic, but time will tell whether Kadabra has the patience, or loyalty, to wait for it.


Demogoblin
A demonic creature that pretends to be an angel on a mission from god. He thinks it is his job to protect the children, and Klarion has used his appearance to convince him to aid him in his plots. When the truth is revealed, who knows what this unstable monster may do.


Match
An unstable clone of a Superboy, Match pretends he is the real deal. Klarion has promised him Superboys life in exchange for his aid. As Match continues to deteriorate both physically and mentally, the question becomes can he maintain his pretense long enough for these plans to work.


Fing Fang Foom
An alien being pretending to be an ancient dragon. Foom plays heavily into the chaos Klarion plans to create. Foom's reasons for working with Klarion are known to Foom alone, but with the power he possess, it can benefit none but Foom


Lyja Lazerfist
As a shapeshifter, Lyja is the ultimate pretender, able to be whatever she wants. All she really wants is the deceased Johnny Storm back, and Klarion has promised that to her. What Klarion does not know is that the biggest pretense Lyja has is that she is secretly working with the heroes to take them down from within.

The Outsiders


Havok
Havok has grown tired of waiting for trouble to strike, and has assembled a team to be more proactive in hunting down threats to the world. They operate outside the law, but they get the job done.


The Question
As a former cop, Renee Montoya adds her detective skills to help track down the villains before they can enact there next plan. She also helps keep the team from crossing the moral threshold by making them constantly ask the hard questions of themselves.


Ice
Whether in the shadow of her best friend Fire or her boyfriend guy, Ice has always been the sidekick to someone else. Now she seeks to make her own mark working with the Outsiders. Having worked with another underachieving ice-manipulator in the past, Havok knows just how to put her skills to use.


Black Knight
Cursed by the Ebony Blade, Dane Whitman knows he risks losing control the more he fights, but his desire to see justice done won't let him stop. He has allied himself with the Outsiders, knowing that they won't hesitate to stop him if he loses control.


Katana
Katana has been an "Outsider" longer than any other member of this team. She adds amazing combat skills, and a willingness to take it to an extreme that some of her other teammates may find "distasteful"


Pixie
After what happened to her in Limbo, Pixie has sworn to never stand by when evil is happening again. Havok is not to keen on having one so young around, but can not deny the value of having a teleporter on the team.

Chaos for Hire


Owlman
Owlman has grown tired with his life on Earth 3, and has once more decided to try and conquer the positive matter universe. Where the Crime Syndikate failed with frontal attacks, he plans on being more subtle. Owlman has hired on a group of mercenaries to sow chaos for the highest bidder, building Owlmans base of power.


Queen Bee
The only member of the team not in it for the money. Zazzalla desires to conquer and rule, and believes that she has found a kindred spirit in Owlman. She has added the might of her Insect warriors to his cause. Perhaps this Queen has finally found her King.


Icicle
One half of Owlmans elemental duo, Icicle has followed enough wanna be world rulers to know how this will end. As long as the money is good, Icicle is a good soldier.


Pyro
The other half of the elemental combo, Pyro is another good soldier to have at hand. He has followed one madman or madwoman after another, and he figures this one is just as good as any, but when it inevitably goes bad, he will be the first to get out.


Nitro
After being responsible for the start of the Superhero Civil War, Nitro has desired to top the chaos he has caused. Owlman is giving him an outlet for that, and he is more than happy to be the ultimiate Suicide Bomber for him.


Eclipso
Having attached itself to lawyer Jean Loring, the Eclipso spirit now realises it can use money to help it corrupt more and more. The only question becomes what will happen when Eclipso causes more chaos then Owlman is prepared to handle.

The Justice Reserves


Captain Marvel
Sometimes the A list heroes aren't available, when those situations arise, the Justice Reserves join the fight. Captain Marvel may not be as "Iconic" as the man of steel, but he can still cut an opposing figure on the battlefield. He inspires this group of heroes to achieve things beyond what they expect of themselves.


Namora
She may not be the king of the seven seas, but Namora is more then ready to prove that she is just as powerful as her male contemporaries. Villians watch out, this sea beauty is kicking ass and taking names.


Elongated Man
He may not be as smart or funny as his more well known stretchy heroes, but Elongated man is no slouch. With his detective skills and analytical mind, Ralph adds some brains to the team.


Rescue
Rescue posseses an Iron Man suit with no offensive weapons, but she will not let that slow her down. A deffensive powerhouse, Pepper makes sure that no innocent citizan is caught up in the never ending hero/villian conflicts.


Miss Martian
Hailing from a race of violent conquerors, Miss Martian has done the unthinkable and become a hero. Proving that you can overcome even the worst of upbringings, she maintains a positive attitude to lift her teammates spirits. Add that to her shapeshifting, invisibility, and telepathy, and M'Ghan is one tough teen.


Obsidian
The son of the original Green Lantern, and the sister to Jade, Obsidian has long hid in the shadows cast by their light. Now he is stepping out determined to prove himself every bit the hero they are. If he can do it alongside a group of second string heroes, so much the better.

Task Force TS: the Thunderbolt Squad


Catman
Implanted with nanites set to explode if they try to escape by the US Government, and sent on wetworks missions where if they are discovered they will be left to die, the thunderbolt squad goes and does what the government does not want you to know its doing. Catman has been assigned field leader as he has experience dealing with a variety of extreme personalities. What the government does not know, is that Catman has already discovered how to disable the nanintes, and is just waiting for the right time to make his move.


Radioactive Man
As a former Thunderbolt, Radioactive man is the de facto number two on the team. He is more than willing to put his faith in Catman keeping them alive. And more than willing to kill him if it looks like he won't.


The Blob
After being depowerd on M-day the Blob thought he had no more reason to live. Now the government has returned his powers to him and given him a license to cause destruction. When the rest of the team makes their move, will he stand with them. And if he stands against them, can any of them hope to move the Blob?


Joystick
The ultimate adrenaline junkie, Joystick brings some super speed action to the team. Unfortunately super patience is not included. Will she be able to maintain her cool long enough for Catman's plans to take affect, or will her attitude cause her to jump the gun revealing it to early?


Giganta
Giganta does not care whether the rest of her team lives or dies, all she cares is getting revenge on the government for daring to think they could control her. Can Catman keep her giant ego in check long enough to make his move, or will she prove to be too large a problem to keep around?


Hydro Man
Hydro Man never saw himself as anything more than a petty thief. As a result he finds himself in over his head in this situation. He is pretty sure he could reform himself if the nanites are detonated, and wonders if it would be better to take the risk of escape.
