Since I didn't see whether or not there's going to be a Wrestlemania or continuation of the PPV predictions thread here, I thought of a different idea we can do.
For every match I'll create a handicap for each wrestler. Using those odds, we will determine how many points you will receive if you pick the winning wrestler. After the event, we will tabulate total scores and those with the highest total points will win. If this catches on, maybe I'll try to make it a monthly thing.
It's different though because it gives extra points for predicting a less common outcome (like real gambling) and will spread picks out across the spectrum more.
For now, I'm going to go with horse racing odds (4:1, 10:1, etc) instead of sports odds (-180) and see what makes more sense later. So without any further meandering:
Wrestlemania XXIV - Good ppv to start with lots of weird matches and possibilities. Where it sees fit, I will spread results as far as possible.
WWE Championship Match:
John Cena- 3:1
HHH- 4:1
Randy Orton- 5:1
WWE Championship Match:
Undertaker- 1:2 (1/2 point)
Edge- 4:1
No Decision- 12:1
Career Threatening Match:
Shawn Michaels- 3:1
Ric Flair- 7:1
No Decision- 12:1
MitB Match:
Chris Jericho- 4:1
Ken Kennedy- 4:1
MVP- 6:1
Shelton Benjamin- 8:1
CM Punk- 10:1

Edge- 24:1
If there is 8th spot, other wrestler not already listed- 15:1
Belfast Brawl:
Finlay- 2:1
JBL- 7:1
Hornswoggle- 12:1
No Decision- 14:1
Raw v. Smackdown:
Batista- 1:2
Umaga- 8:1
BunnyMania:
Maria and Ashley- 3:1
Beth and Melina- 4:1
No Finish- 8:1
The Biggest v. The Best:
Big Show- 4:1
Mayweather (with any interference)- 5:1
Mayweather (cleanly)- 10:1
No Decision: 8:1
24-Man Battle Royal:
Kane- 2:1
Tommy Dreamer- 4:1
Colin Delaney- 4:1

Steve Blackman- 18:1
Terry Funk- 20:1
Sandman- 20:1
Taz- 20:1
Roddy Piper- 20:1
Sgt. Slaughter- 20:1
Gregory Helms- 22:1
Ric Flair- 25:1
Mickie James- 30:1
Pete Rose- 30:1
Jake Roberts- 30:1
Rob Van Dam- 2:1
Mick Foley- 10:1
Sid- 15:1
Lance Storm- 15:1
London or Kendrick- 50:1
Other: 10:1
ECW Championship Match:
Colin Delaney wins belt- 1:1
Tommy Dreamer wins belt- 3:1
Rob Van Dam wins belt- 4:1
Chavo Guerrero retains- 5:1
Kane wins belt- 6:1
Matt Hardy wins belt- 8:1
Other wins belt- 5:1
And I believe that's it. If any matches are added, I'll try to add them before the event. I'll try to tabulate everything in the week after WM. Please write the odds of each wrestler you pick for each match to make it easier to add up.
And for the future, if this proves to be a good idea, should I add special props to add more crazy things to get points on?
Remember: While getting them all correct will ultimately win you this, picking an underdog and getting it right will get you more points ultimately if they actually win.
All right, that's it and good luck.
