Not to tell you how to do your show, but here I go: if you're going to do the twice a week thing, maybe do one with three people and one by yourselves every week. If you have a constantly different person in there with some knowledge about their own team, it might bring a fresh perspective. I'll totally agree that, I only have a peripheral knowledge of the AL, but I don't catch that many AL games. I watch Giants games. I can tell you plenty about the other teams in the NL West, and a bit about the other teams in the NL that we see a lot, but I don't really see the AL teams that often. Other than the clips we all see, I don't think I've watched a complete AL game since the playoffs.
Or if you want to make the show REALLY depressing, I can guest and talk about the A's in addition to the Cubs and Mets...
In all seriousness, I'm open to having someone else on the show to talk about other teams. Wednesday nights would work best, I think. We're working on Wednesday being a more "topic heavy" show with Sunday being recaps (though Andy threw that out the window the other night). If you want to be on, download Audacity and play around with it, so you know how to use it.
Since you pointed it out, Sharky, I decided to pay attention to my swearing while listening to the new MNF. It was over 37 minutes before I used a dreaded four letter word. That's some terrible crutch I have.
Okay, average shots on goal per game is over 30. How many goals get scored, 3? Maybe? If you're lucky? So everyone in hockey has the equivalent of a .100 batting average. Hockey sucks.
