*We are LIVE! at an unnamed arena where Chris, also known as Ecosystem, is standing in a wrestling ring with a microphone.*
Chris: Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the second year of E!
*The crowd cheers loudly.*
Chris: For those of you unaware, E! is owned in a joint operation with myself and Eric. During the era of the Puns House Draft, we have had three showdowns. The 2009 showdown ended with Eric defeating me in the finals. The 2010 showdown ended with me defeating Eric in the semifinals and winning the finals. The 2011 showdown, our first time teaming up in the Puns House era, we went through the double elimination tournament and was crowned champion once again, without a loss.
Our philosophy? Pick up the best wrestlers in the world and put together the best matches. Despite what people will tell you, this is not a competition for the most creative. This is not a competition for most fun. It is a competition for the best wrestling shows and best wrestling company. With that philosophy in mind, I would like to introduce four men who define excellence. These men define honor. They define integrity. They define the word wrestling. These are four of the greatest American wrestlers in history...allow me to introduce Kurt Angle!
Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas, Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team!
And The All-American American, Jack Swagger!
Collectively, they are known as Team Angle!
*Angle, Benjamin, Haas, and Swagger come down to the ring, wearing matching American hoodies. They receive a warm reception from the crowd. Chris hands the microphone to Kurt Angle, as he addresses the crowd.*
Kurt Angle: You know the story by now. I wrestled in the 1996 Olympic Summer games and won a gold medal with a broken neck. I entered into the WWE in 1999 and won every major singles title within my first year in the company. I wrestled in the main event of Wrestlemania. I put on legendary matches. And now, I'm wrestling with the best wrestlers in the world.
Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Haas are Wrestling's Greatest Tag Team. They've won major tag team championships in every promotion they've wrestled in. Jack Swagger, he isn't as polished, but he's an All-American form Oklahoma, and he's going to be learning from the best. The potential of this kid is through the roof. They'll dominate the tag team and secondary divisions. As for me? I'm Kurt Angle. I'm arguably the best wrestler ever. And I'll be wrestling for - and winning - the top championship in the company.
*Suddenly, the lights go out....and this music plays...
...and BRIAN PILLMAN appears at the top of the ramp, with microphone in hand.*
Brian Pillman: You want to wrestle the best wrestlers in the world, Angle? You want to wrestle for World Championships? You want your Team Angle to run rampant over E!, winning championships in all of the divisions? You better get ready to be disappointed. You see, if my final days in the old WWF taught me anything, it's that the American Way can't be trusted. I waged war against America for part of 1997, and if I have to, I'll do it again, in order to get what I want.
Kurt Angle: You and your Hart Foundation cronies waged war against America, but you didn't come out on top, Pillman. Besides, Bret Hart, Owen Hart, Jim Neidhart, and Davey Boy Smith are tied up with Team MNF. They aren't walking through that door. Which means if you want to take on Team Angle and the United States, you're going to have to do it yourself.
Brian Pillman: That's where you are wrong! You see, I've learned from the past, I refuse to repeat history! I may not have the original Hart Foundation to have my back, but instead, I'll have a younger, hungrier, more ready group to combat you. Meet the Next Generation Hart Foundation: Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith, Teddy Hart!
*Kidd, Smith and Hart all come out, wearing the official Hart family colors, the pink and black, and stand in solidarity behind Pillman.*
Brian Pillman: So you see, Team Angle, we aren't afraid of a fight. Don't get too comfortable with the idea of you running rampant over this company. In fact, you need to get familiar with a new idea: losing and losing a lot.
Kurt Angle: That sounds like a challenge that I'm willing to take on. How about it, Chris? Kurt Angle vs. Brian Pillman, winner becomes the new E! Champion!
Chris: Sounds good! That'll be our...
*Chris is cut off by the sounds of "Africa" by Toto. The crowd recognizes the other co-owner, Eric, aka Eric O'Mac, coming out.*
*Eric, with a microphone, starts to address the crowd and the participants in and surrounding the ring.*
Eric: Not so fast, my friend! You see, there's something my friend Chris left out...he is NOTHING without me! He has one measly win on his own. Including the OO Draft Era, I have three by myself, and four overall! Yet he wants to act like me and him are equal partners...eh, eh, I don't think so! You see, Chris, you are a partner in name only. You don't get to make decisions...I do! Because the fact of the matter is, if I didn't take over E! last year when you went MIA, we would have lost early and early on. But me? I'm a winner. I come to win. You come to draft Guerreros and make bad trades!
*The crowd boos, while Eric continues.*
Eric: And you think you can start our company without me involved? Not going to happen. You think you are going to make the main event of the first E! show? It's just no feasible. So, for all of you wanting to see Kurt Angle and Brian Pillman face off for the E! World Championship, you are going to be VERY disappointed.
*The crowd boos even louder.*
Eric: You see, we just got done running the OO 5 Draft Showdown. And of course, I won that too, beating my Chris and some other guy in the finals. And in the main event of my UWC card? A guy named Christopher Daniels won the World Championship. You've heard of Christopher Daniels, haven't you? If you haven't, you better get ready, because he is officially recognized as the E! World Champion!
*"Get Ready To Fly" plays as Christopher Daniels, wearing his E! World Championship, comes out. Kurt Angle, pointing to Daniels, making the "I Want The Belt Discount Double Check" hand movement when Brian Pillman slides in with a chair and waffles Angle in the back with the chair! That starts a pier 8 brawl between Team Angle and the Hart Foundation, with Daniels nodding on in approval at the top of the ramp. With no matches set for the first E! show, who will wrestle Daniels for the E! World Championship? Stay tuned, and get ready to fly.*
