I don't think it's immaturity or spite. I think it's strategy. When you're down 0-1, why vote to put your competition up 2-0?

Hence my suggestion that next time if we do RR groups that you can't vote in any poll within your group, at all.

I'm just saying things would be simpler if we could all just vote for the better card and leave it at that. Having to add additional rules because people are only voting in ways to keep themselves alive sucks. That's just me, though. I'm going to vote for the card I like better, others may not, and that's their right.

I think extending the no-voting rule would hurt overall. The only reason there's a No Vote in your own poll rule now is to keep the teams from having a 2-1 advantage built in at times.

Vote for who you want why you want, as long as you vote.

I personally don't think I'd vote against a better card, but to each their own.

If I didn't have Andy pick a bunch of gay wrestlers, I might have been able to cut out half of those crappy matches. Also, I have about 4 or 5 guys that I'm not even using, so I'm working with less.

Beerko's card is good, but Raven shoehorned in the ME loses me. I never liked Raven or anything he ever did.

Creepy's card is actually better than last time. But I was hoping for Arn/AJ.

According to the rules, Pun has gone 24 without breaking the tie (I think he's out of town actually) So we need a Non-Drafter to come in and break the tie by posting. The only ones I can contact would not be until tonight. If anyone else can contact someone else before then, by all means do so.

Here’s why: First off, I’m an Old School NWA/Georgia guy, so BeerKo immediately gets me going with Tony Schiavone as announcer. Then he gives me two awesome big-man tag team matches with Norton/Tomko vs. Borga/Berserker (Borga/Beserker is just sheer perfection of low-IQ tag team members. They need a manager, however) and African Express vs. Kronik. Hell, I’d take either of those as my main event.

Then he’s got two bona fide crazy matches in Sullivan and Sawyer in a First Blood Match and a Falls Count Anywhere between Bad News Brown and Kane. The tag tourney matches are also great, as I’ll watch The Road Warriors against anyone. Finally, I like the title match of Punk/Sting/Raven. Punk and Raven are great story-tellers in the ring, and if we get Sting pre-knee injury he can go with both of them.

Creepy’s tag teams are a step down. The three-way doesn’t do it for me, although I like T&A vs. West Hollywood Blondes. Also digging on Bastion Booger vs. Khali. Yes, it’s a train wreck, but Booger is fun to watch. And he has Disco Inferno, which is a big plus for me.

The downside is Rico vs. Boss Man in a strap match, which doesn’t seem watchable; Harris/Knox/Anderson just bores me and a cage doesn’t seem like the right place for Anderson and Tajiri.

So this is a young-guy question, since I started watching wrestling in 2000 (is that really still 12 years?): I heard Tony Schiavone used to be one of the best announcers ever, and just dropped off during his late WCW run. Is that true, or an exaggeration?

I always loved Schiavone, especially paired with the brilliance of Heenan. Sure he would wildly exaggerate things, but I just see that as part of the business. Schiavone & Heenan (with Tenay as an infrequent technical 3rd) is my favorite announce team ever.
