Old School Revolution presents:
Revolution One: “Shattered” Free For All Pre Show
Live! At the United Center in Chicago
Presented by AMP! Energy Drinks
Free For All Pre Show
Jessica Hatch and API leader Sonny Siaki host the Shattered Free For All show, and are in a location overlooking the arena seats. The United Center is nearly full as Hatch and Siaki talk about the start of Old School Revolution, touching on the development of the company through the draft. They welcome G-B to the program, who talks about tonight being, obviously, the biggest night in the history of the promotion, and he calls it the “rebirth of professional wrestling.”
Hatch then asks G-B about the physical status of the roster after all of the press events and tour stops leading up to Revolution One: “Shattered.” G-B states that the roster is in good health overall, with a few injuries...”The No Remorse Corps and The API are all a little banged up right now [Which Sonny agrees with.]. Thanks to Bam Bam Bigelow...Kota Ibushi, Kevin Steen, and Buddy Rogers are also what I would classify as ‘hurt.’ The only people I’d classify as injured would be Eugene, who won’t be with us tonight, Ricky Marvin, who suffered a concussion in the Bam Bam attack, and Bryan Danielson, who is nursing a bad shoulder from Tito Ortiz’s attack. Wrestlers in general perform banged up, but the roster is relatively healthy for tonight’s event. Out of 40 talents on the roster, Eugene is the only one not cleared to be here tonight. With our recent heavy schedule, I am okay with those results.” G-B then excuses himself from the pre-show, and heads down to prepare for the pay-per-view event.
Hatch and Sonny start to talk about tonight’s events, with the initial focus being on the API-NRC feud and tonight’s 6 on 6 match-up. Sonny breaks out of host mode and cuts a promo on the NRC, stating that The API intends to end the war tonight, and promises carnage in the ring and ringside area when all 12 men go to battle tonight. A video package about the feud follows.
Hatch then returns to talk about the World Television Title Ladder Match, and the attacks from Bam Bam Bigelow on most of the challengers. She notes that the only wrestlers in the match not hurt are Daniel Puder of The Embassy and Steve Corino, who’s bullet was taken by Eugene. Hatch makes Sonny to make a prediction, which he dodges, claiming that he doesn’t care who wins, as the title will soon make its way to The API. The segment ends with a video package chronicling how the Ladder Match was built, and the attacks and confrontations along the way.
Next-up is discussion of several other matches on the card, including Bad Company vs. The YRR and Killer Kowalski vs. Bam Bam Bigelow. Hatch puts Sonny on the spot again, and once again he refuses to pick a winner, citing that if any of them really want to be winners, they have to beat the API first.
Hatch then introduces to tonight’s free pre-show match, originally scheduled to be a one-fall, five way match-up. She mentions that Eugene is now out of the match due to injury, and it will be a four way, one fall match. A video package of all four men’s antics is shown next, and when it is over, all the men make their way to the ring.[/i]

Eugene vs. Amasis vs. Ophidian vs. “Addicted to Love” Rhett Titus vs. Duane Gill
Gill and Ophidian start the match, battling back and forth. Amasis keeps interfering for his partner, frustrating Duane Gill. Rhett Titus gets in on the action as well, prancing and dancing around Gill much to the crowd’s delight. For a heel, Rhett is very over with the Chicago crowd!
The bulk of the match is controlled by The Osirian Portal working as a team, making quick tags and taking advantage of their experience together. Their innovative offense is a big hit with the fans. The end was near when all four men fought in the ring, with Titus and Amasis being legal. Confusion among the competitors caused Ophidian to lock in the Death Grip on Gill, thinking they had the victory when Gill tapped out. As Amasis celebrated, Rhett nailed him with an STO, followed up by a Frog splash for the pin, all while Ophidian kept Gill locked in the Death Grip, unaware if the ending to the match.
Winner: “Addicted to Love” Rhett Titus, Frog Splash Pinfall, 8:38
Talk then returns to tonight’s event, as Jessica and Sonny talk about the Old School Memphis Steel Cage Match between Jerry “The King” Lawler and Frankie “The Future” Kazarian. Sonny thinks that while this is Lawler’s match to lose, you can’t count out the desire and heart of Kazarian. Obviously, a video package follows.
Following this video package, a small commercial for Revolution Two: “Electric Boogaloo”, a 2 night event at the O2 Arena in London England airs.
Jessica and Sonny preview the Tito Ortiz vs. Bryan Danielson match. Put on the spot once again, Sonny says this one is too close to call since there are so many variables in both wrestlers’ style and the rules of the bout. The customary video package, chronicling everything from Danielson’s debut to Tito’s attack in Las Vegas is shown.
Jessica and Sonny return to talk about tonight’s OSR World Heavyweight Championship match between Kenta Kobashi and Kerry Von Erich. The video package is shown first this time, and upon its completion, Sonny picks Kobashi, a fellow Pacific Islander, to win the gold. He’s also quick to mention that he believes a member of The API should be in line for a first title shot. Sonny then turns the tables on Jessica, asking her to make a prediction on the winner. Jessica doesn’t hesitate, saying she’s been a fan of the Von Erich family since growing up a wrestling fan in Texas, and picks Kerry to win the title.
The Free For All show end with talk about tonight’s main event, #1 draft pick “Stone Cold” Steve Austin vs. #2 draft pick John Cena. They put the match over as the match in OSR, the first match ever announced and one of the big must-see matches in the current era of wrestling. They don’t make any picks, just promise that this match will deliver on many levels. The Free For All concludes with a video package of the longest rivalry in the (short) history of OSR, and tonight’s main event.
