Rock/Race would be fantastic. Several other good matchups there as well, like Samoans/Towers.

Serge: Almost too much going on. I get the stories behind them, but it's almost overwhelming with all the "IF/then" for every match. Ladder & TLC matches are nearly identical, having both is odd Plus the odd double-booking of your ME guys.

Error/ Last minute change that wasn't reflected on my card-- Sandman is the special ref in the steel chair match. Knuckles takes his spot on Mankind's team. Thank you!

1) Lock-up Ladder match
This starts out with Rob and Love Machine flying all over the ring-- laddery goodness. Then Rob gets the advantage and frees his ally Hakushi-- but Hakushi fights Rob rather than helping him! Presumably, Hakushi does NOT agree! Jannetty is still in his cage, but his facial expressions and body language make it clear that he is NOT cool with the poor sportsmanship on display. Rob gets a couple of hope spots, but... two-on-one, Barr and Hakushi make short work of Van Dam... Barr gets the pin-- one... two... three. Barr signals for a mic...

LOVE MACHINE: So, Rob... You wanted to know what THIS is good for! ...holds up the phoenix key... Well, now I'm gonna tell you-- as I stand over you in victory, JUST LIKE I SAID!

The Phoenix Key unlocks opportunity! The bearer can demand one ladder match against any champion any time he wants!

That means that I could demand a ladder match with whoever WINS your TLC main event, Rob...

LOVE MACHINE: But I don't wanna do that, Rob! You know why? 'Cause I want you to be there! I want you to be there unintentionally running interference for me on Lesnar... When I steal the Batman World Championship from right between your fingers, Rob!

So instead of demanding a separate match... I'm gonna redeem this key to insert myself into your TLC match.

Just when you thought you were done with me! Hahahahaha!

#2-- Captain's Chair match
It looks like Hogan's team is short a man--till Evan Bourne enters to a big "return from injury" pop.

You've got 13 people (counting the ref!) swinging chairs at each other in and around the ring, so the action is fast and furious. It's not TOO complicated for the inexperienced ref-- since only the captains can pin or be pinned, and only inside the ring. So Sandman can basically ignore most of the competitors.

Noteworthy heated exchanges (setting up possible future feuds) occur between Canek and Ladd, Knuckles and Sheik, Bourne and Spike, Bourne and Mistico, Tiger Mask and Spike.

The finish sees Team Mankind and Team Hogan brawling on the outside. Inside the ring, Tiger Mask is fighting Sheik, Canek is fighting Ladd, while Lesnar is murdering Mistico. Leading up to this, Lesnar and Sandman have had a couple of arguments. Then Lesnar smacks Sandman on the head w/ his chair from behind his own back on the backswing! Sandman takes exception to this...

...and he cracks Lesnar on the skull repeatedly with his trusty Singapore Cane. Simultaneously, Canek hits the Argentine Rack Drop on Ladd. He sees that Lesnar is down (but NOT why!) and races to cover him. 1... 2... 3! El Canek hands Lesnar his first loss in Batman Wrestling (with an assist from the Sandman!)

My card ends with the two rosters brawling. Thursday Throwdown! vs. Saturday Slam is coming for card 4.

Serge has some good stories, but his card is almost too chaotic for me. Way too many stipulations attached to matches, and some kinda complicated ones at that hurt it a bit for me. Fishy has a solid card with some enjoyable matchups, but I'm not super excited for Rock/Race. Fishy takes this one for me.

Serge is too story orientated for me in these. The cards probably make sense, but the names don't make me interested in the match.

...Team Mankind and Team Hogan take no notice of the match being over, and brawl up the ramp and backstage...

#3-- Brass Knuckles Match
Both teams are getting their licks in, but Bruiser & Animal are clearly getting the better of things. When suddenly....

The lights dim and dry-ice smoke billows, like an Undertaker entrance. Corddrey and his Giants look confused, Lauper annoyed, while Bruiser and Animal cower like the over-grown children they basically are...

Enter Eiger-- for those disinclined to look her up on YouTube, Eiger is a comedy-match wrestler who does a creepy witch gimmick. She looks like a cross between a Kabuki witch and the ghost girl from the Grudge.

For the purposes of this gimmick, Eiger and Chairman Ramu are dressed exactly alike. They use smoke, mirrors, and misdirection to give the impression that they are not two different entities, but one-- teleporting and changing size/age.

Then they reach the ring and use one last flash and smoke to "split" in two.

[Batman]

The lights go back on... The competitors have retreated to ringside, ceding the ring to Eiger and Ramu. Animal & Bruiser have reached the "gnashing and wailing" point of over-acting fear. Brian Hebner is still in the ring and he's COUNTING. He's up to EIGHT!

The managers are urging their charges back into the ring, but none of the four big men want any part of it.

At the last second, Reese rolls in and right back out! The Giants get a count-out victory!

Corddrey gives the shrug of "we'll take it!" and the three men depart.

Animal and Bruiser are trying to convince Cyndi to do the same, while she tries to convince them to stop being babies and face their fears...

Brian is still in the ring with Eiger and Ramu giving them guff of the "what are you doing, interfering in this match, you?" variety. Suddenly, there's a flash and smoke. The lights dim momentarily, and then Brian Hebner is gone!

Bruiser reacts by flinging Cyndi over his shoulder, then both men sprint away!

[Batman]

...Eiger and Ramu "rejoin" into one entity with a flash and bang and smoke. She rears back her head and wails out an evil, insane laugh. Then with one more flash-bang and dimming of the lights, she too is gone.

#4-- Minneapolis Cup Final Ladder match
This one is for all the marbles, as the beautiful Minneapolis Cup hangs high above the ring... A chaotic and exciting six-man ladder match ends with Brunzell retrieving the Cup for Team Gagne.

Post-match, recriminations reign on Team Sharkey. It comes to blows between Lane and Zenk, with Sharkey attempting to pull them apart.

#5-- Tap-out match
A technical masterpiece, ending when Street pulls of some reversal into a brand-new submission move that we've never even seen before. The Exotic one is #1 contender for the Armageddon Crown!

Post-match a derisive crowd continues to rag on Grey. "Earl! Grey! Hot!" chants alternate with "You! Tapped! Out!"

(Hidden Camera footage...)
FOLEY: Sorry, Mickie! I tried to talk Lesnar into putting Abdullah on his team, so that Abby'd be double-booked, too... Worst thing I coulda done! Then Lesnar assumed that Abby was my double-agent-- and he wouldn't even consider him!

KNUCKLES: Y'know, Jack... When I said we'd find another way to even the playing field... that's not exactly the kind of thing I had in mind!

FOLEY: Oh?

KNUCKLES: Why don't we just go kick his ass before the match?

FOLEY: Oh!

Y'know, maybe I'm just not cut out for this whole "bad guy" thing?

KNUCKLES: Eh.... It makes ya unpredictable.

#6-- Triple Tables
Knuckles puts a beaten-down Abdullah through a table first. Later the heels get the advantage and Abby gets his revenge and puts Knuckles through a table. While Knuckles is still recovering from this bump, Lawler and Abby put George through a table with a double powerslam. One more table to go before George and Mickie lose! Then-- before Abby and Lawler can repeat the performance-- Knuckles flies into the ring and charges at Abby, hurling them both out of the ring. Lawler goes to powerslam George through that last table by himself, but George reverses into his rolling flying hiplock-- taking Lawler over the ropes, out of the ring, and through two stacked tables that Abby set up there earlier in the match! George takes his Crown back and he and Knuckles celebrate and return backstage. Meanwhile, Lawler is blaming Abby for the loss, vehemently berating him. Abby takes it with rapidly dwindling patience. When Lawler slaps him, it's the last straw! He retrieves a fork from under his man boob, and chases Lawler up the ramp with it!

#7-- Last Blood match

Second Blood? Last Blood? I'm not sure what to call it... It's simple, though. Your opponent must bleed FIRST-- once you've done that, you can beat him with a standard pin or submission. And-- although the ref will give leeway-- weapons are not actually allowed. Making it all about vicious punches and elbows.

As advertised, it's a brutal bloodbath. This is Jacobs's wheelhouse, but Kendrick is game and doesn't back down. In the end-- after both men have been bleeding for some time-- Jacobs keeps Kendrick down for three with a sick piledriver.

#8-- Batman World Championship TLC
There are numerous dramatic teases of Barr or Van Dam taking the title, but in the end Lesnar's brute force wins out over Van Dam's acrobatics and Barr's cunning, and he retrieves his Championship!
