I was just going to go with the standard "Fuck Superman" and leave it at that, but Loki has forced me to do otherwise. I actually only have one simple point to make about his argument:

Wolverine is Canadian. He was born and raised in Alberta. Superman, on the other hand, is not American. He's Kryptonian. If you want to argue that Supes adopted the States as his homeland, then the same argument applies to Wolvie. Either way, your argument sucks.

actually, i believe krypton have evolved beyond petty things like borders and countries.

Yes, but if an English couple had a baby in England, then sent the baby to the States just before England blew up, the baby would be English.

If an American couple adopt a non-citizen infant, I'm pretty sure the naturalization is automatic. Of course, in this case the infant's alien origin has always been secret anyway. As far as the US government knows, Clark Kent was born in the US.

if england blew up just days after the child was born, and the child was in suspended animation on the way across the atlantic so as not to age, then the child was found and raised by an american family in america, then i would say that child is american.
