Gonna do this a little differently this time around to make it a little easier on me. Instead of doing Up Next threads in advance of the poll and then a separate voting thread, I'm gonna combine them and just lock the poll until it's ready to launch. This will still give people time to debate the pros and cons of each of the contestants before voting goes live....and it makes things easier for me to administer.

Our other initial matchup has DC's #1 baddie and overall top vote getter in the Supervillain Showdown The Joker going up against Marvel's #8 Juggernaut, who is also the target of OpTard's wrath for edging out Thanos for the last entry.

As with the other #1 vs. #8 matchup, I don't see much of a contest here so you Juggie fans better get talking.

Joker. This one wasn't even close for me. Until the infamous mutant not a mutant debate over at OO I didn't even know who the hell Juggernaut was.

Juggernaut is one of my all-time favourite villains. That said, he's just not in the same league as the Joker. I gotta go DC on this.
