Thanos is awesome. In fact he's BETTER THAN DARKSEID!!!!

Thanos singlehandedly took down the Elders of the Universe to obtain the Infinity Gems, forming the Infinity Gauntlet and royally fucking up the Marvel Universe for a time. Fucking it up so hard that it took the return of Adam Warlock to save the day.

And why did Thanos want all that power? To impress a girl. Not just any girl. DEATH. The man has high standards.

Of course, one strike against him is that Death rejected him. But shit, it's Death. And Thanos is an ugly dude anyway. So what does he do to appease her? He starts killing everyone.


I like Bizarro, but vote Thanos. He's a badass.

First of all, everyone in the entire world knows who Bizarro is, while it's a known fact that 60% of people think Thanos is some kind of tumor. He INVENTED A WORD.

He has HIS OWN RULES of verb conjugation. That's AWESOME.

He has been in nearly every incarnation of Superman, making him one of those 'integral characters".

Did I mention he INVENTED A WORD?

And, of course, one of the best scenes ever:

Bizarro is stupid, but he is the only comic book character whose name became a word in the English language. That's impressive. Thanos is pretty badass, but his whole "I'm going to kill everyone in the school universe because of my unrequited love" schtick is awfully emo.

Bizarro's just a Superman opposite. A novel idea, but I don't think it holds up over time. I mean, it's neat at first, but after a while it becomes "so, uh, what now? You mean this is it? Oh". Also, Bizarro's an idiot who's mainly used as a tool by smarter villains.

Thanos is an original creation. He may look like a gorilla with several asses for a chin, but he's smart, powerful, and ruthless.

Wait, did he kill them because his love was unrequited or did he kill them to impress his love and because they were gifts for her? Because I always presumed it was the latter. And that doesn't seem like the emo stereotype.
