Tom and Jerry had two peak periods, original and when Chuck Jones helmed it. There has been a lot of drek inbetween. Fairly Odd Parents has some pretty fantastic adult humor that goes over the head of the kids.

As I will vote for Chuck Jones in the Looney Tunes round, I'm going with modern and hip.

man, I like both of these, but I am going with Tom & Jerry. There were some pretty horrible episodes (the sound is horrible, the drawing is choppy, ugh) but there is a whole lot more great.

If they were against almost anyone else, Fairly Oddparents would get my vote, that along with Fosters is one of the better recent cartoons
