I love the Simpsons episode where the creator of "Danger Dog" comes in and all the kids make cartoons modeled after it. "Danger Cat", "Trouble Dog" and then Bart's "Danger Dude" but "He's a Dog". God I love The Simpsons.

Did the Simpsons ever do anything related to Foster?

These are both really good shows. Loki was high to suggest that they're lucky to be facing each other, because otherwise either of them would have been "smoked" by something called "Voltron." If they weren't facing each other in the first round I think both might have gone far.

Foster's

OK, the one on the left and the one on the right are the show's two mainstays. The kid's name is "Mac," and the giant blue thumb is "Blue." Mac's Mom decides that he's too old to have an imaginary friend, so he takes him to a shelter for outgrown imaginary friends. They bend the rules so Blue doesn't have to be up for adoption, as long as Mac visits him every day. Mac is a typical precocious kid, Blue is incredibly self-centered and myopic, but clever and fun, too.

In the center is the funniest character on the show. Even though he's only appeared a couple of times, he is featured prominently in Cartoon Network advertising, 'cause he's just that damn funny. His name is Cheese, and he's a moron imaginary friend. At first Mac thinks he accidentally created him in his sleep, which is a huge embarrassment because 1) self-centered Blue takes it as a kind of betrayal, 2) he thinks Cheese's stupidity reflects on him, and 3) "Mac and Cheese" is a horrible pun. It turns out that Mac's hyperactive neighbor girl actually created Cheese. His catchphrases are "I pooted" and "I like chocolate milk." Trust me, in context they are hilarious.



All you need to know about Danger Mouse is that he is a mouse secret agent who is constantly breaking the fourth wall, with a comedy relief sidekick named Penfold (that's him cowering behind DM in the picture.) He says "Shush, Penfold." And then you laugh. That's all.

It's close, but: advantage Danger Mouse.

You have GOT to be kidding me, Serg. I stand by my initial statement: Either one of these would have been smoked by Voltron.

It's VOLTRON. Voltron is iconic. I've seen Foster's. It made me laugh. But in no way, shape or form does it hold a candle to Voltron.

Danger Mouse? I vaguely recall the name from my youth, but that's it.
