Scene opens in a smoky empty Dallas Sportatorium. Scott Hall walks through the curtain but looks perplexed. He makes his way slowly down the aisle looking lost. He spots Gorilla Monsoon sitting at the announcer desk all alone.
Hall: Hey Yo, is this the Dallas Sportatorium? How the hell am I here? This doesn’t even exist anymore
Gorilla: Welcome Scott. We were expecting you. And you are correct, the Sportatorium doesn’t exist. You could say it is a dead arena. And unfortunately Scott, you are dead too.
Hall: So this is heaven? Is that what you are telling me, Gorilla?
Gorilla: This is Afterlife Wrestling Federation, Scott. We put on matches for eternity here at the Sportatorium. I’ll leave it to you to call it heaven, hell, or something else.
Hall: That’s pretty wild, Chico. So are all the dead wrestlers here?
Gorilla: No not all of them. Some come and go. Brain was here for a bit but I’m guessing somebody owed him money and he left to go haunt them for awhile.
Hall: Benoit?
Gorilla: Never seen him. But look I’m glad you are here. I was always a big fan of you, both in the ring and for your mind to the business. You are going to be a big asset.
Hall: This is a lot to take in but also pretty intriguing. Who is here?
Gorilla: We got Macho, Perfect, Andre, Road Warriors, Brody, Bruno, Sherri, Chyna and lots more. We have a whole Samoan Dynasty here. Roman has his bloodline in the land of the living and Peter Maivia is the “High Chief” here. As for titles, Bruno is the World Champion. Curt is the Intercontinental Champion. Road Warriors are the tag team champions and Sherri is the Women’s Champion.
Hall: You know I’ve always wanted to work Curt again. We missed each other a lot back in the day. Had a few tags and the occasional singles but not the big match.
Gorilla: I had a feeling you’d say that. Look, we booked Perfect in this upcoming card against Pedro Morales. But let’s get you into a contender’s match for a future match.
