I never got around to buying San Andreas. I made it a mission to wait a year until the prices of GTA dropped to $20. The problem was by the time San Andreas dropped I hadn't played GTA in awhile, I didn't have as much disapobale income, and I was busy playing other games I liked. If this was Vice City it would be more of a decision for me. But it isn't and I went with Ms. Pacman once again.

I would just like to seen somebody explain how THIS constitutes such a great game. I can understand the importance of pre-Nintendo video games, but I've yet to see ANYONE explain to me WHY Ms. Pac-man should get the duke here. What was SO influential about it? I'm fully expecting SMB to trump the greatest football game of all time in our next vote simply due to the influence factor. I'm not seeing that here. So why is a yellow 5/6 pie with a red bow on the top of it winning this showdown? Is it just GTA revolt?

There is nothing influential about Ms. Pac Man. Nor is there anything influential about GTA SA.

With that being said, it's all about which game I like more.

I voted Ms. Pac Man. I'll play SA tonight and see if anything changes my mind.

I could almost accept a Pacman game beating a GTA entry but San Andreas? Easily the best storyline of the series, the best main character of the series, the best villain, an outstanding soundtrack... you get to bang chicks, kill people, fly planes, and basically do whatever you want.

12-10... this is the biggest shocker of all showdowns.

I still haven't voted because I've never played San Andreas. I suspect I might vote for it if I did play it, but I haven't and I never even liked these games enough to keep playing Vice City after the helicopter thing proved a bit tough for me. On the flip side I have played Ms. Pacman but I never enjoyed the Pacman games much. And I sucked at them too. So I don't know how I feel about giving Ms. Pacman an unbeatable lead.

Maybe I'll go to Gamestop this afternoon and pick up a used copy of San Andreas and play enough of it to care by 1 AM.
