I love how the Raiders had ZERO passing stats.

Nothing against Ocarina of Time... it is a FINE video game. But it's TECMO SUPER BOWL!! The game that didn't leave the inside of my NES from the day I got it til the day I got a Super Nintendo two years later.

I wanted to vote for Tecmo Super Bowl, and may have over, say, the original Legend of Zelda, but not Ocrarina. I used to play that game just to ride around the field on Epona and kill stuff on the horse for fun.

Jay Schroeder would have had 700 yds passing against that Patriots team.

They were not very good. Steve Grogan (wish they had a little neck brace for him in the game) at 12% passing. Awesome. Had they played in real life that year, it probably would have been around 63-0.

By the way, anyone who doesn't vote for Tecmo Super Bowl and isn't female is clearly a homosexual.

Punchout I won't shed any tears over. I love it and I voted for it, but it's not a dealbreaker. But TSB? The game that defined my youth? The game that made me watch football and hum the injury music anytime someone got carried off the field? The game I played non-stop after I moved to Alabama because I hadn't made any friends yet? Yeah, there will be a problem. I mean, shit... it's 15+ years after the fact and people are putting Tecmo videos on YouTube, for God's sake! Recreating recent NFL events on the video game! It's THAT timeless.

And it's not that I dislike Zelda. I was/am a HUGE fan of the franchise. But they have NOTHING on Tecmo Fucking Super Bowl.

Plus, the badass soundtrack.
