Why "angstboy"?
Dates back to my angry teenage years and the earliest days of the internet. It was a pseudonym I used back when AOL was brand spanking new and I just never dropped it.

Who has been the most profound influence on your life?
Yikes. That's really tough. As a self professed laid back guy who just sorta coasts through life and sees what each new day brings, it's really hard to say. If I had to pick one, I'd have to probably go with Carl Sagan. His show "Cosmos" totally got me on the track of skeptical, scientific, critical thinking very early and that's the kind of person I've been ever since.

If you had 30 seconds to convince me to buy your comic, what would you say?
"If you buy CornerKicked, I guarantee you'll have sex*."


Also, as a preemptive answer to later questions... Firewoman, my sex life is good, but not nearly as interesting as any of your usual questions would warrant answers to. Regular, multi-position sex is fun enough**.

Boobs or boobies. It's usually situational though. Depends on what word is funnier in a given context.

Generally indifferent. The only thing I don't like is completely flat-chested or ridiculously huge. Women should look like women, not boys or two tangled hot air balloons. I've only ever had an intimate relationship with boobs between A and C.

All the ones I've had personal experience with have been in the small to medium range. Peperoni areolas freak me out.

Sure. Used to love them as a kid. It's tapered off greatly into adulthood, but I don't hate them.

Does Celebrity Jeopardy on SNL count? No? Okay... I'd probably have to say Wipeout, right now. As a kid I loved Press Your Luck. I was also obsessed with LINGO for a span of about 6 months when it first started on GSN. I'm also a big fan, as many people around here seem to be, of Cash Cab. Game shows I really liked but no longer seem to be around were Beat the Geeks and The World Series of Pop Culture. Those were awesome.

See, I always think it's silly, because if i can bring 20 plastic discs to a island where there's obviously some form of technology/electricity which is usable to play media, there's no reason why I shouldn't be able to bring my iPod/computer, in which case I'd say "all of them".

I'm gonna be real bad at this because my brain doesn't retain places/dates very well.
Wrestlemania 3 is and easy choice. Bash at the Beach '96 when hogan turned heel. Wrestlmania 18 for Rock vs. Hulk. Unbreakable 2005 for Joe/Daniels/AJ. Can't think of a 5th off the top of my head.

Why the Caps?
I wasn't even into hockey at all until a buddy of mine asked if I wanted to go to a Caps/Pens playoff game about 10 years ago. The atmosphere in the MCI Center was like NOTHING I'd ever experienced at a sporting event before. In short, I was SO impressed by the experience, I became a hockey fan on the spot, and by default, a Caps fan. They're the closest team to me, geographically, so it makes it easy. I sure as hell wasn't going to become a fan of the fucking Penguins.

Favorite Caps moment?
For me personally, it has to be being at the last game of the 2007-2008 season when they won the SE Division. Amazing experience.

Least favorite?
Losing to the Penguins. Ever. Especially this year in the playoffs. Have I ever mentioned that I hate the fucking Penguins?

I like it a lot, actually. You have a date for all of your major functions. You don't have to work on convincing someone to have sex with you. Plus she handles the bills. Oh, also, she's pretty and I love her and all that gay stuff.

I've done VERY little. To give a top 10 would be to cover everywhere even semi-interesting I've been. So I'll give a top 5 here and a top 5 for the question below:

5. New York City - Just drove around and checked out some sites. Typical.
4. Key West - Went there for my sister's wedding. There was a tranny bar a block away from our house. Saw Cory.
3. Bahamas - Went there for Christmas with the family one year. My mom wrapped a ham up as a present to get it through customs.
2. Seattle - We were only there for a day, but I loved every second of it. It was so we could catch the boat for our:
1. Cruise to Alaska - Honeymoon. Went on a helicopter ride to a glacier where we did a dogsled ride. Best trip ever.

Ouch. Really? That hurts, man. Empire is one of my favorite movies of all time, but I'm also a big Trek nerd. TNG is one of my favorite shows of all time. You know, with the way Lucas has raped my childhood, and how JJ Abrams has revitalized my interest in Trek... I'm gonna have to go Star Trek on this one.

The one-shots usually take 30 minutes. If it's part of an arc like the RenFest one, they can take about an hour because I'm actually trying to create a semi-cohesive narrative. Plus there are more characters, backgrounds, etc. It just takes longer.

4. What other sports do you like?
Football. That and hockey are the only two sports I follow with regularity. I went to the Os/Tigers baseball game this sunday, and all it did was reinforce my opinion that baseball is mind numbingly boring. I don't like basketball because I'm short.

I used to play in a roller hockey league and roller hockey pick-up games, but I've gotten lazy this past year or so.

I don't hate them, but there's a definite point that I feel that you've overdone it, and it's become a turn off. Subtlety is sexy to me.

The Canadian Destroyer has always been a crowd pleaser. I'm also a fan of the vertibreaker. Anything creative that actually looks like someone could seriously die if you fuck it up.

There have been many MANY a suplex performed into my parents' pool. No CDs though. We DID have a Wrestlemania 2000 N64 fed at one point and a friend of mine who couldn't play for shit decided to be the "commissioner" and made all the matches. The champ of our little league, who loved Triple H, pedigreed him on my kitchen floor. The commish sold it for like 5 minutes. Then he stripped him of the title. That was fun.

Aside from any of the minor youthful shoplifting and crap I did as a kid, nothing really. The worst i can think of is driving home really REALLY drunk on New Years 2001, I think. That was stupid as hell and I'm just glad I didn't kill anyone.

I always liked to draw. A buddy of mine started loaning me his comics to draw him stuff from the pages. I started to read them. I only "write" CornerKicked because drawings of Cory and Ziggy fucking each other with tasers would get bring after a while. Trust me on that.

The first Sin City comes to mind.
