y'know, the combination of pineapple juice and cranberry juice would be pretty tasty--can I have mine mixed kind of weak? Fruity drinks are OK, but not when they're like "gee, someone has accidentally put a little fruit juice into this rum!"

Cause I've got to go with the medium-rare steak. (Though I'd take a filet (or two) over the strip if it were up to me.)

I like Coke but I rather not have it with that meal. Nor will the ketchup come anywhere near my steak sandwiches unless that's really, REALLY shitty beef. I'd definitely prefer Pun's steak. But ultimately its not the "gayness" of the drink that's the problem is that I honestly wouldn't possibly be able to drink such a blend of fruit flavors even if I didn't despise pineapple so much. And it just seems like an absolutely horrible drink choice for that steak since I wouldn't want to have a drink of it during the meal for fear of making my steak taste fruity instead of how its SUPPOSED to taste from a very careful and involved preparation and cooking process.

Same with the loaded Potato, really. There might not be anything wrong with it but what kind of cook would serve such a sophisticated and carefully prepared steak only to then surround it with a complete onslaught of over powering flavors sure to drown out the awesome steak? I'd end up having to eat my meal like my obsessive compulsive sister eating the entire steak before eating the potato before drinking my drink because none of them can be mixxed!

It is a shame. If Pun had a real drink like a gin martini, he'd probably run away with this whole thing

Why did Pun ruin a great meal with that drink? And if he likes it, great, but it just totally clashes with the rest of the meal. It's like having some Reisling with your Taco Bell, it just doesn't mix well, no matter how much you might love both.

It's a steak. There should be a nice Cab Sav or a Pinot as the accompanying drink. Not something my sister would order at TGI Friday's.

Still, it beats coke and ketchup with steak sandwiches. You could've had me, Eco, if it were steak sandwiches, a good beer, and steak fries instead of ketchup. Hell, tabasco sauce would've been better than ketchup.

Still, the ketchup can be pushed aside without completely negating the entre like Pun's meal does.
