Now that's an alternate draft that sounds interesting... short.. and new

Dash and Eco both mentioned making/thinking about making spreadsheets of the 3 years of picks. Averasge them out and rank all wrestlers 1-whatever

Do the regular serpentine order.. and then attach it to the appropriate wreslter.

Allow a 3 week window for roster adjustments.

Do this one as a ONE card showdown.. maybe iwth larger heats and a final heat (kind of like track& field races) so the showdown portion is relatively short

If someone else wants to do the stat portion I'll run the thing. But there'd have to be some trade rules or something, like everyone only gets 1 trade a day or something. I dunno.

I was thinking basically the same thing. Kinda. If ten guys wanted to do it, and cap it at 30 performers. Either do the 3 year average (which wasn't what I had in mind, but works better) or get a list from everyone and average out the top 300 performers (since we have new people taken and some peoples stock have risen over the years) and the set the performers 1-300. Every round, you would do a new draft order set from the draft website. The main problem is that someone might end up in the top 5 every round for flukes sake. But there would be a no trade rule and we'd see what we could make with what we draft. It'd be a very storyline driven showdown to see who could work with people that they might hate or not know anything about. We could also not count announcers or valets and have a supplemental draft for them, and maybe the order would be based on who had the worst positions over the course of the whole draft and so forth.

I volunteer to run the stats portion, and the draft if Byrne gets busy. I think we should do the three years, since it would be hilarious when the third round comes around and someone gets randomly assigned Ramu. ( Also, I've found a good algorithim patch to correct for guys who only recently got hot, like Sheamus.)
