Smallville

I like to imagine that in the future the smallville Legion are dressed like in the comics (aren't their costumes kind of uniforms too, distinguishing them as being part of the Legion?), and their look here is just their way of having their costume while in disguise. God, I hope there's at least one scene of the future. Even if it's just the "Middle Future" of Clark when he's Superman (though they don't have to show that, but just make it clear he's Superman at that point).
See, I always figured Clark got into Lex's place through an antiquated clearance pass or his super powers. And somehow Lex never figured out how the fuck Clark kept getting past security. And the study stuff I always chalked up to the fact that Lex always manages to keep the ancient kryptonian artifact, the alien technology, or the video that reveals his evil plan in his study. It never fails, its always there.
So basically I just chalk it up to Lex not being very good at secrets and security. The guy's email password is probably "password."
Everybody in Smallville must be fucking deaf too, since they never hear that sonic boom noise that happens just before Clark disappears after they've learned that someone else is in trouble on the other side of town.
I'm still perplexed by the idea of a Senator's (or is it Congressman?) widow inheriting his job. Yay democracy!

And is it just me or is Clark's mom a total bitch? She becomes a politician and she never steps foot back into her son's life and Smallville for years including the wedding of probably the most important person in the family's life? And yeah, I know that's just actors and legitimate issues you can't get around but I just have been noticing it this season and realizing what a terrible write off she had. "She... uh... has a job! So she can never, ever, ever return! No matter how many times Clark's life is in danger, the world is ending, his loved ones die, or what. Never, ever, ever, ever! It would be like a 2 hour flight!"
