Drop on in to the Pun's House Cineplex and catch a flick or two. Sorry, but you'll have to bring your own popcorn. If you find a full movie that you enjoy (Hulu is a great resource), feel free to post it.
Lucky, I think you can take the player during his prime of the movie. Taylor had bad knees throughout the entire movie. But 90% of ROY had Gas throwing Henry. That would be my opinion on making the roster.
Great pick with Steve Nebraska. Can't get much better then that.
Lucky, even though it is a chick flick, I suggest you go out and rent Catch and Release. Smith is outstanding in that flick. He plays Jennifer Garner's "funny friend" and he nails it. It's the biggest role, by far, he has ever had and he does a very good job. I have also heard he's pretty good in his Live Free or Die Hard cameo.
7. "Come on!" - Denzel Washington's Trip embodies the fighting spirit of the 54th regiment in Glory. After Matthew Broderick's Col. Shaw is killed in the charge against Fort Wagner, Trip takes the flag and charges uphill, screaming for his fellow troops to join him. Fucking fantastic.
That part was good but the scene where Washington is being whipped for sneaking off to get shoes and he never flinches and sheds that one tear is intense. It was like he was saying after all hte whippings I've had as a slave this one as a free man is nothing.
Also, the scene right before the one you mentioned where they are marching to their certain deaths and the racist officer from earlier in the flick screams..."Give em hell 54!"
And then there was the scene before the battle where the men are gathered around the fire singing the hym...I guess the whole damn movie was good.
Yeah, and that's why I said so, but they link to the same article. I think it's just a case of whoever reported it first misread it and wrote Live Action, and everyone who copied it just browsed the article for some details without noticing it was animated. All the places that are reporting Live Action are using the Variety article as the original source.
Variety online could have it wrong and the Variety mag could have it live action.
I heard back from one of the sites that had listed it as a live action movie and they said the original article did list it as live action.
It depends. I consider them asian and pacific islanders. some only asians, and some only PIers. MOst asians-americans do consider filipinos asians, though. I joke about the whole "they're asian when it's convenient" often - especially among filipino friends.
Hell, some asians consider Indians to be seperate from asians.
So instead of Indiana Jones, we would have had Jerusalem Cohen?
You can hear my band, Veritas on FlashRock, a website with a weekly radio show. They played us on their show today, and had me and my sexy voice on their show. It was a hilariously fun time. Check out the fun and the rock!
Thai, I never really listened to Silversun Pickup, but they get played a lot on XM. After this review, I listened to the one single, "Lazy Eye". It's really pretty good. What was the set like? Is this one of those bands where the single is the best song, or is their music pretty strong all around?
