Drop on in to the Pun's House Cineplex and catch a flick or two. Sorry, but you'll have to bring your own popcorn. If you find a full movie that you enjoy (Hulu is a great resource), feel free to post it.
Hollywood takes action hero Jesus to India "The film, which is due for release in 2009, sets out to be a fantasy action adventure account of Jesus's life with the three wise men as his mentors." It's the biblical equivalent of Smallville then.
Right before the Spider-Man parade, I yelled at the TV, "put your fucking mask on, idiot!"
Oh, and why did Harry's butler decide just NOW to tell Harry that Peter didn't kill Norman? Could've told him a few weeks before before his face got nearly blown up. How fucking CONVENIENT for him to tell Harry that news right when he did.
And oh yeah, I guess Harry's butler knows Spidey is Peter now, too.
I like how it's Cast Away for fifteen minutes, then Resident Evil for fifteen minutes, then back to Cast Away. Could be good.
I should really seek out the book, I suspect I'd like it. Though I didn't care for the one Matheson story I've read, "Born of Man and Woman." But lots of writers have recovered from an over-acclaimed first short story to go on to write some decent fiction anyway. . . .
i'll finish season 3 tonight and then i'm forcing myself on a hiatus. i have comics to read and i have comics to draw. but instead i'm watching 4 episodes of west wing every night. i need to take a break, get caught up on the other stuff.
Saw this today along with Shoot 'Em Up and thought it was very good, largely for Crowe and Bale. Though the rest of the cast good too. Ben Foster was surprisingly good at being menacing, Alan Tudyk was funny, though there was some WTFery at Luke Wilson having a minor role in it.
Friday Night Lights the TV show is so far above and beyond the movie. I remember all the hype the movie got when it came out that it was one of the best sports movies ever and all that, bored me to tears. But the TV show, can't miss television. Some of the best characters, actors, and plots on tv right now.
