He's a regular contributor in comics. He participated in the TV Network Showdown despite not being an entrant. He booked his Wrestling Draft fed all summer into September. He was one of the driving forces behind the 12 Pack which ran into October. And since I'm "stat guy" a quick and easy look at his last X posts says he posted 50 times in December.

AngryDan did campaign, in the main thread. He accused me of looking past him, and claimed that someday a 16 seed would beat a 1 seed, and maybe this will be the day.

This does not take into account that the seeding is based on the pretty arbitrary measure of post count. I don't think I have half of the popularity of any number of lower-seeded punsters.

And rightfully so--I'm kind of a dick.

But, then again, I put a lot of time and effort into making cool charts and tables for people, and helping educate you unwashed masses about the great comic book artists of the past.

I do get busy from time to time and disappear for a while, but I'm not going to apologize for having a life. And, hey, I always come back.

But when it comes down to it, there's only one reason you should vote for me--because you have enjoyed my posts over the years more than AngryDan's one funny thread. But if not, then not. You know who you are.

Yeah, but... You just drew the wrong one-seed for that campaign. I may have more posts than almost anybody, but beating me just wouldn't be that unbelievable an upset. This isn't March Madness, and our seedings aren't based on a past record that actually has a direct causal relationship to our chances of winning the tournament.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think you will beat me. I think your chances are slim, but not slim enough to qualify as "unbelievable." Beating Thai or Punker or MKid in the first round would be unbelievable, because people actually like them--they seem like nice guys.

Me, on the other hand, I'm kind of an asshole; I make enemies by accident just by being my aggravating self, and sometimes on purpose just to stir shit up.

So I just don't think this Cinderella story you're trying to sell to the people really fits the facts.
