How did you become a Wings fan?

Born in Toledo, Ohio. Grew up a fan of all things Detroit (about 45 mins away). I loved hockey, so it was only natural to become a Wings' fan.

Cedar Point. Hands down. No contest. The only one that comes remotely close is Six Flags Magic Mountain in Cali.

As for non-coasters, I enjoy rides that spin you and cause lateral G's, so something like the Scrambler, Matterhorn, teacups, etc. Also LOVE Bumper Cars. If there's a type of ride I don't like it's the ones that go straight up-and-down. Actually, I don't mind the ones that shoot you up too bad, but the ones that lift you to the top, hold you there, then just drop the bottom out from under are not my faves.

Do you like to cook? What's your favorite thing to cook?

On occasion. I really have to be in the mood for it. I'm not a "typical guy" in that I'm not a big fan of food cooked on a grill. We do have an griddle, though, that I love. My specialty is what the wife refers to as "hubby burgers" which are frozen turkey burgers from the grocery store that I cook on the griddle and season with whatever I feel like at the moment. Typical seasonings include, but are not limited to: garlic salt, hot paprika, Mrs. Dash season-all, Adobo seasoning, chili powder.

Is there a Gatorette? If so, how long have you two been together/married?

Yes, and her name is Michelle. In August we will have been married for 6 years, now. Damn time flies.

1) Boobs. Although "rack" is also fun.
2) Prefer small-to-average areolas. No saucers for me.
3) Small-to-average nipples are preferred, as well. Not a big fan of any that are longer than a tic-tac, although "thicker" is fine.

How did you meet your wife?

Movie theater in college. I was a huge flirt back then, and I had the reputation as such. But one day I was in the back room making nachos and she walked in as "the new girl". All flirtations with other girls ceased immediately. Really was almost like the "love at first sight" kinda thing.

Things were tricky at first, though, because I had just turned 21 and she had just turned 17. So, um, yeah.

It was trouble with the wife, yes. And I honestly don't remember what the sites were at the time. She's amazing in bed, but things are often very "basic". So to satiate my creative mind I went the porn route. Better than the cheating route, I figured.

Tough call. I'd probably have to say Bret Hart. He truly was the "excellence of execution".

I would probably go by "Adam D" (since Adam Bomb was already taken... that was my nickname growing up). Finishing move would be the Vertebreaker (CHOMP! for you OOWFites). Pose would be standing on the second rope in the corner, left hand on right elbow and right have stroking my chin with a slanted eyebrow sneer on my face.

What is your favorite wrestling memory?

I have to go with 5 of them here. (Hey, it's MY spotlight!):

1) First wrestling event I ever went to when I was little and living in Toledo. Ricky Steamboat subbed in the main event for Jake The Snake Roberts in a match against The Honky Tonk Man. To "even the odds", Jimmy Hart was suspended over the ring in a cage so he couldn't interfere. I am pretty sure Steamboat won, but it was a non-title (IC, I believe) match.

2) Goldberg Jackhammering Hogan to win the WCW Title.

3) The entire Wrestlemania IV tournament. At the time I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Judging by the number of us who enjoy the showdowns so much, I'd say I'm not alone in that sentiment.

4) Shane McMahon coming out during the final Nitro to announce he had "purchased" WCW. Man, I miss WCW. They really really fucked up that invasion.

5) I'm not sure why, but this one always pops up when I am asked this question. It was a Nitro even in Gainesville. Psychosis won a 6-man cruiser match and became Cruiserweight champ for the first time. He had long been my favorite cruiserweight, so maybe that's why it's so memorable to me.

What is your least favorite movie of all time?

I bet you all will expect me to say either The Godfather or one of the LOTR movies, here. But I never finished watching The Godfather, so I can't consider that one an option. And I do typically enjoy the LOTR movies, I'm just not a crazed nut about them like most.

And for the most part I enjoy at least something in every movie I watch. But if I had to pick one from recent memory that I never EVER want to watch again, it would be "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". Just blah. The only movie I almost walked out on.

And another just popped into my head: Batman Forever (or whichever one it was with Clooney). Just god-fucking awful.

If you could be any kind of pro athlete, what would you be, what would be your position, and what would be your number?

If you would've asked me a few years ago, it would've been either a baseball pitcher or hockey goalie (I can't skate for shit, though). Number would be 57.

But since you're asking now, I'd say I'd like to be an MMA Fighter. Something about bending another human's joints to the point where he gives up sounds oddly appealing.

Your favorite sporting moment?

Freshman year of college as the Gators basketball team was just starting to come into its own, I was one of those lunatics who camped out just to get the seats close to the floor. Anyway, it was the Kentucky game, and the place was absolutely nuts the entire time. I had slept (well, tried to sleep) outside on concrete, but it was well worth it.

The Gators won the game, and Teddy Dupay jumped up into the crowd right onto me and a couple of my friends. We held him up there and crowd-surfed him around a bit. (As a side note, this was also during the time Erin Andrews was a Dazzler at UF.)

A close second would be the Marlins' first World Series title. The clinching game was the night of my Senior Prom, and about halfway through we were all standing around the balcony at the hotel looking downstairs at the large-screen TV on at the bar.

And a very close third would be the entire "Year of the Rat" season for the Florida Panthers. Everybody went apeshit. During the first-round playoff game (I believe it was against Boston), I was sitting in my uncle's seats (5-rows off the ice, behind the goal, spitting distance to Dan Marino, Wayne Huizenga, and Anna Kournikova) and the Panthers scored. I remember just looking straight up toward the ceiling as the showers of rubber rats came toward the ice. Definitely a moment I will never forget.

Your least favorite sporting moment?

Billy Donovan announcing he was leaving UF for the Orlando Magic. The program has yet to recover, and things are slowly getting worse, too.

Do you have any diseases/ailments?

No real diseases. Just major issues with seasonal allergies. I lost a sister to Hodgkin's disease when I was 17 (she was 13). This past summer my other sister was diagnosed with it, but as of January she is in full remission.

I actually had a minor scare with it, myself, a couple months back. X-ray and CT scan showed enlarged lymph nodes in my chest area that were consistent with Hodgkin's, and given the family history they decided to to a biopsy to see what was going on. Pathology came back negative, though. Probably just my body fighting off dust or mold or whatever it usually fights off.

Why Sean O'Haire?

I honestly couldn't tell you. I think it partly had to do with my affinity for the cruiserweights at the time, and here he was as a big heavyweight pulling off some of the same acrobatic moves they did with relative ease.

And he had "the look". I will still consider the Devil's Advocate gimmick to be one of the most horribly botched gimmicks in wrestling history. He had potential to shine in that role, and the E didn't let him.

Does Zaxby's count as fast food? It's not like super-fast, but you don't have to tip or anything, and nobody waits on you.

And I'm not sure how much of a chain it is, but I'm a HUGE fan of Mellow Mushroom. I know of at least 3 of them (Gainesville, Orlando, Jacksonville). Some of the best pizza I've ever had. I don't usually pay attention to ingredients and all that shit, but their crust is a wheat crust made with spring water. It definitely DOES have an impact on the taste and softness of the crust!

Do you like sweets?

Love 'em. I've definitely got a sweet tooth. Love dark chocolate. Love gummy candies. Love peanut butter with my chocolate (pb M&M's are an absolute fave. Love Little Debbie Zebra Cakes.

I'm on a diet, can you tell?

Yes.

And as a person who lost 30 pounds in about the course of the year, here are my 2 top tips:

1) Walk. Plain and simple. Walking for the sake of walking is boring, I know. But if you can find a purpose for the walking, it's well worth it. Walk up to the store if you can. Or a comic shop or something.

2) It doesn't matter as much WHAT you eat as it does how much of it you eat. Just pay attention to your portion sizes. Once your stomach has shrunken a bit, the pounds will start coming off rapidly. And if you can find a way to spread out to 5 smaller meals throughout the day, that's even better.

I wish I could answer this one, but I can't. The only PPV I specifically remember is WM IV, and that's because of the tournament. Any actual answer here would be solely based on "Hey, I remember the main even for that show".

Unfortunately only once. In Gainesville. I had the absolute best time of my life, though. Even my roommate who wasn't a big fan had a great time. Just a fun, fun show. And OK Go was the opening band.

The only thought I have on that is that the Wings are currently cruising past Columbus (sorry, fire) while the Avs have been on the golf course for 2 weeks, now. I'm loving that Chicago has become relevant again, though. Been missing having a good, local rival.

TETRIS. But mainly only the Nintendo versions. Other control schemes annoy the shit out of me for it. I'm REALLY good at Tetris, and it was great that the DS version finally had internet play. Nobody I know would ever play against me, so now the Japanese and Koreans offer me a challenge, at least. I'm not sure the Japs appreciate my player name of "Adam Bomb", though. If any of you think you can take me, bring it on!

Other than that, mainly sports, puzzle, and turn-based strategy games. NHL, NCAA Football, Tiger Woods, Gran Turismo, Civilization, Advance Wars, Meteos.

And I really enjoy fighting games, even though I tend to suck at them. Well, I can beat the computer opponents most of the time, but online against very skilled players I get my ass kicked. I love playing Street Fighter IV, but it does get kinda old getting my ass handed to me. I'm really hoping the HD Remix of Marvel vs. Capcom 2 comes out sooner rather than later. That was one I was actually very competitive at.
