I knew the Lakers were going to beat the Rockets, but I'm not sure the refs coulda helped them out more with the exception of just calling anything against the Lakers. Early in the game they would call the smallest bullshit call on the Rockets and let the Lakers run roughshod, but it evened out as the Lakers pulled away. Go figure.
Also, I love how when the Lakers lost a game this series, it was because they choked. When the Rockets lost a game, it was because the Lakers OMG! DOMINATED! Alot of the shots the last two games in LA just didn't go in for the Rockets, regardless of the Laker defense. They went in in Houston.
I wonder if the Lakers woulda taken this to a game 7 if Yao and TMac woulda been healthy and Kobe woulda not played at all and Gasol went out in the third game with an injury.

Well, if TMac played, Houston doesn't win a series.
Seriously, if he woulda been healthy this year, I have no idea how well they woulda done if he'd have been around. With the emergence of guys like Scola, Brooks, Wafer and Landry and the additions of Artest and to a lesser extent, Brent Barry, they had a great core. TMac might have chopped it up a little, but when he realizes he can be like a Kobe or a Lebron, but he's usually a 2nd tier kinda guy then he'll flourish as a teammate, not the teammate.
Is it so hard to imagine? Is it so hard to believe? Something so outrageous, something so far-fetched, well how 'bout Adam and Eve?
So how many people in the NBA marketing department had an orgasm when LeBron hit that shot? And what's the over/under on the time it takes for it to be turned in to an NBA - Where Amazing Happens commercial?

I sure hope so
The Phillies are everything I hoped the Mets would be - a team that plays their fucking asses off for all 27 outs. They're never out of a game. Solly 10/20/09
